Margarito went from competitive, in the fight, to a beaten man in a single round..

Pac took the first round, Margarito did quite well in the 2nd, he could've taken it or made it a draw, the third was for Pac... at this point - especially in the 2nd round - it looked like Manny had a challenge. Then in the 4th, Margarito got completely annihilated in just one minute of the 4th. He went from somewhat competitive to taking a beating 90% of the time and 10% throwing some punches when Pac purposely stayed on the ropes.

And that against a man 18lbs heavier and 35lbs heavier than his natural weight. What a man. Pacquiao is everything you can wish for in a fighter. God I hope Mayweather finds the balls to fight him (that's coming from a Mayweather fan).

pac landed that monstrous bodyshot. I think that was the shot that took the steam out of Marg.

I counted at least 3 body shots to the middle at the 4th round. Everything is downhill from there for Margo. He became slower after that and his punches are weaker.

not totally accurate. Marg came back a bit in the early second half, and hurt pacquiao bad to the body at the one point. Just when the tide was turning Pac completely shut margo down.

I was surprised, I actually thought Margarito was going to stop Pac late in their fight. Pac took everything dished out and fired back busting Marg up. Very impressive performance by Manny, made it look so easy.

4th was vicious but Margo did come back and have a competitive round in the 6th.

2nd and 6th rounds were the only somewhat competitive rounds. The rest were all Pac.

Actually it was two things that happened in either the 3rd or 4th round.....dont remember which came first, but I believe the debilitating power left to Margarito's liver and also Margarito's eyesocket got fractured, his right eye swelled up immediately after that shot, so it certainly effected his vision.

What I find amazing is that Margarito put enough pressure and landed enough shots to both the body and head of Pacquiao to have a small framed fighter like Pacquiao significantly slowed.

.....but debilitated and slowed never happened to Pacquiao, his workrate remained constant throughout, though the much bigger Margarito was landing some heavy shots that had Pacquiao wincing........

......guess this act by Pacquiao should put all those who believe he's under the influence of performance enhancers in their place.:nut

I thought Margarito could've been KOed in the 4th. I don't know if Manny's a very good finisher. Maybe I'm just being nitpicky.

Get the **** outa here! That was a very entertaining fight. Margarito remained a threat the entire time and brought out the best in Pacquiao.

I don't remember Margarito being very competitive at all. His best moments came when Pacquiao took his foot off the gas and allowed Margarito to assault him against the ropes. But whenever Pac would either turn the heat up, or boxing and move, Margarito would have no answers.
