Margarito lost to Mosley because he couldn't stop that right hand ... and if Cotto was smart he would've threw more right hands ... he would've atleast went the distance.

Spinks would beat Margarito, he'd see those wide punches coming all day and win a comfortable decision. I always thought Taylor recieved too much criticism for having trouble with Spinks( I thought Taylor won and never bought into the controversial bit but it was close). Spinks was a jr middleweight at the time but if he was to have campaigned at 160 then he would have been a top ten middleweight. Even though it was viewed as a stay busy fight for Taylor that was nonsense. Spinks has always been a skilled fighter and a tough match up for most.

Based on his last fight with Latimore I'd say Spinks best is clearly behind him. He still has enough skill left to beat or trouble most guys between 147-160 but there are a few that would eat him up. Pavlik being one of them. Spinks has lost a lot of his legs and would be a sitting duck for Pavlik or Williams. Now the Spinks from the Taylor fight would have given Pavlik some real trouble but now Pavlik would knock him out. But I'd totally agree that Spinks would box circles around Margarito.

When Margarito comes back, don't expect to see the tireless iron man from the Cotto fight. Mosley proved those days are over. Don't forget, even though Cotto was the one who collapsed, Margarito took dozens of flush shots . Combine that with a 15 year career of an offensive minded boxer, and a crushing loss in his last fight. Margarito will never again will regain the form he showed against Cotto.

Maragrito gets stopped by both Mosley and Cotto in rematches.

Margarito should move up to 154 if he says he had a hard time making weight. He mentioned Martinez who i believe would beat Margo as well.
