Margarito (who fought Cotto) vs prime 147 Trinidad: How would it have turned out?

    After watching how Margarito took all the bombs that Cotto landed on him, it makes me wonder how Margarito would have fared against prime Trinidad.

    Even with his iron chin, I think that Margarito would have gotten hit way too often by a prime Trinidad. I think that he would have gotten tagged repeatedly by Trinidad's left hook and would have lost by wide UD.

    What do you guys think?

    i think tito hits harder then cotto, and he is taller as well and his reach is better.i think tito would have won a 12 ud, but damn i think it would take a mw to stop margo.cause he walks through haymakers like it aint ****, i dont think tito would stop him.i dont think nobody can at ww.

    tito would have knocked him out he would have been tailor made for tito.tito can hit and im not sure if he would have been able to take tito's punches for 6 rounds

    All speculation. Tito's bigger than Cotto, but used less movement and I don't think his chin wasn't as good as Tony's. Could he hurt Margarito before Margarito hurt him?

    The only intrigue in this fight is to see if Margarito can take Tito's shots without getting Ko'ed. There's no possibility of Margarito winning the fight.

    Agree. I can't think of a way for Margo to win the fight. At 147, Trinidad's speed was better than Margo's. Trinidad would be teeing off Margo all night.

    man tito would have eaten him alive are you kidding me ?

    You think Margo is going to go straight at Trinidad throwing 130 punches a round and not get knocked the F out by Trinidads bombs .....

    Margarito would have been manhandled

    margarito is custom made for a tito highlight reel. tito was a big welter and fought up to 160 no problem. would be hard for margarito to bully him like he does against small fighters.
