If having punches that bounce off Margarito's granite chin until Margarito catches his body in the eighth or ninth and Ko's him, then I agree with you. Pacquiao does not punch as hard as Shane.

 

i agree. the weight is the biggest issue too.
this isn't about who's the best fighter, it's about if a great small man can beat a possible HOF fighter at this weight.

 

Pac should stop him.

Margarito is too hittable and Pacquiao too accurate, not to mention he doesn't suffer from the major vulnerabilities Margarito is the prototypical fighter to exploit, like poor stamina and punch resistance. Also people are neglecting the fact that we won't be seeing the Margarito that fought Cotto, although he will be fired up for the fight like no one else, he will be rusty and the damage he has suffered over his career might have begun to catchup.

 

punch resistance is part of what gets fighters like margarito this far since he lacks technical skill.
i'll be surprised if pac stops him.

Without the plater Mosley beats him everytime. Margo is ruined now and lays down when Arum tells him to against the catfish.

 

He should deal with Margarito at least as well as Shane did.

 

So it all comes down to his chin then. There was nothing mentally wrong with his chin in the Mosely fight. The reason he looked so good against Cotto is Cotto didn't sit down on any of his punches, in fact he was on his back foot the whole time. Then to top it off he went straight back and sat on the ropes for him. Pac won't be doing any of that.

Margo will look like he is stuck in mud, the speed difference will be that great.

 

Why does everyone seem oblivious to the very strong possibility that this is a fixed fight, if Margo is allowed to actually fight to win this will be the end of Pacquiao, Pacquiao has decent power but nothing margo can't walk thru, Pac can't adopt the same strategy that Shane used because he's not as big or Physically strong as Shane, he's not gonna hit and hold to drain Margo and nail him with massive overhand rights, i believe Margo can walk Pac down with strength and a high punch output and TKO this dude.

I don't understand how this guy can continue to go up in weight and be effective, at some point even i have to question wether or not he's using PED's, he's getting every advangtage, catch weights to drain his opponent, the gift of a predetermined fight by Arum and he gets to use PED's, damn when will the madness end.

 

lad he didnt turned up a month late for the barrera rematch and it was one of his worse performances hes greta but hes not superhuman lol
