I have to keep this short for time's sake.

    is going to throttle

. It will end the Cotto hype once and for all. Too big, too strong, too long. Never in my long time following the sport have I heard people actually try to make cogent arguments about shorter reach being a supposed asset.

The smartest man in the welterweights just retired -- as I said he would -- rather than face Margo:

PBF knows that Cotto is going to get crushed next month and that means there will be no place for him to hide from Margo. Notice Floyd retired BEFORE

won, meaning he didn't know if he could count on Paul to protect him from Margo again. Not a conincidence, the timing of the retirement.

    Anyways, all this sets up

, and it should be one hell of a scrap.

There are no other big fights on the horizon. Forget about

, Joe C would win that easily. Same with Joe C vs

    .

After he picks up his second belt next month, Margo will rule the Welterweight division. Chicken is gone, and that leaves one man in the new king's eyes, one piece of unfinished business:

    Williams.

Williams' camp wants the fight (so they say), and you know Margo will be looking for revenge.

Book it and lock it. This fight will be the next can't-miss for the sport and I fully expect Margo to finish Williams as he was on his way to doing in the 11th round of their first fight.

Margo has waited his entire, long career for the recognition he is finally receiving now. No way he's going to miss his opportunity now. Cotto is going to get absolutely destroyed, and then it's time for the real contest: Paul "The Punisher" Williams.

    Can't freaking wait.

    Interesting take.

But I don't think Margarito is going to defeat Miguel Cotto. I think Cotto is going to use his jab and body-punching very effectively in winning a unanimous decision.

Furthermore, I expect Williams to lose his title the first time he defends against a solid opponent (Mosley? Judah-Clottey winner?).

So yes, actually, Williams-Margarito II might just happen, though I think it will happen because both will LOSE their upcoming fights, rather than both win.

But Margarito definitely has a chance - and if Williams stays smart with the title, who knows, the first fight was great. A rematch would be fun.

    Good stuff, man.

I love the Fat Boys. One of my nicknames -- RokSki -- is from Kool Rock-Ski of the group.

I'm writing this now so that when the Cotto fanboys start crying next month I can say "Told ya so." Just like Chicken Mayweather retiring.

    Peace.

    YES!:good

But as far as I see the Cotto-Margarito superfight, I see a very good match-up, a very exciting match-up. I think it's very difficult to pick a winner, because both fighters bring it every time and have very good resumes.

I'm going to stick with my Cotto pick, but with Antonio Margarito in the other corner, nothing is certain. :hey :bbb

margarito's gonna get destroyed by cotto... and even if he did when, he'd just get ate up by Paul Williams again... so it's not likely he'll be welterweight King

So what adjustments will Margarito make to beat Williams in a second fight that he didn't in the first fight. Margarito has one effective style. I don't see him being that capable of changing it.

Listen to me: Antonio Margorito has beaten NOBODY. He has 5 losses count em FIVE. He would have six if Josh Clottey had not broken his hand-I saw that fight and Clottey was having his way with Margo for the first 4-5 rounds (Clottey is only 1/2 taller than Cotto btw). He is an unusually big, rough welterweight-that is all.

I thuink a rematch makes sense I think if Margarito can make a fast start he can beat Williams But with Margo being the slow starter he is It would be a shame if the rematch goes the same way as the first fight.

I'm sorry, I am a big Margarito fan and all, but that is just bull****.

:rofl Mind you this is the same poster who said he had Hatton ahead of Mayweather going into the 10th round, and that Cotto-Mosley was a "roberry." This guy is a joke.
