Cotto knows what he did wrong the first time around and will adjust to not stay on the ropes too long for the rematch.

I disagree, always have even before the fight last night.

Last night added even more wear and tear, I fear Margarito might have Israel Vazquez' problem from now on with cuts etc.

Cotto would pace himself more, and use his jab more, personally i think he would win a wide UD.

 

Margarito would break him again. Cotto isn't mentally tough, thats why he went into survival mode against Pac. Margarito never caved in and continued taking a beating to the end ( minus the 12th rd.)

 

lol yes i can see how you think that a guy who got his absolute ass kicked would beat miguel cotto.

its time to face facts, margo doesnt have the power anymore, he doesnt seem as strong or relentless anymore. hs punch resistance is still there seemingly. but he was a punching bag last night.

In the last 2 and a half years margo has been dominated twice and fought a boring fight vs a bum.

his time is over. he is not a top 15 fighter any more.

 

margo seemingly was strong and had "power" since he was fighting a guy 17 lbs smaller than him.

with cotto being near his size, margo had to use something "extra" in able to hurt cotto. in short, margo doesn't have the power to hurt fighters his own size like mosley and the last guy he fought before pac.

 

I thought Margo looked very strong, on the inside he was really bullying Pac and as Pac said, in the 6th round he really felt those punches. That said, that could be to do with the 17lbs difference.

Margo wasn't as relentless because he has altered his style slightly with Garcia, the guy was actually using his jab and blocking punches with his gloves as oppose to his face. IMO if Margo came in there with his old style, he would have been taken out pretty early, it was clear that Manny could hurt him whenever Margo walked into something clean. Margo previously had complete disregard for his opponents punches.

BTW, one thing Im sure of, neither Emmanuel Steward or Cotto will now want that remach with Pac... WW or JMW.

 

cotto has to work on his stamina(and make sure its a plater free fight) and i think he would win. margacheato looked slow as hell

 

cottoe til this day has nightmares about marg while waking up in sweats. Marg easily beats Cottoe 100 out of 100 times.

 

After last night I dont think Margo can beat anyone besides Cotto.

Are you kidding me? Margo with out plaster in his gloves is not beating any of the elite guys around his divison. Plus Cotto has Emanuel Steward in his corner to fix the flaws in his previous game plan. Cotto knocks out Margarito if they should ever fight again.

Cotto would destroy Margocheato. Its clear he probably beat Cotto due to cement in his gloves.
