Pointless thread. Floyd only does low risk, high reward fights, and Margarito is way too risky an opponent for him to face. He has ducked him before and would do it again after the heart Margarito showed last night.

Margarito is probably a spent force after last night. But he has the size strength toughness and relentless mentality that floyd don't want to play with.

floyd ducked Margarito for a damn good reason in 2006. There's something about Margarito that scares him and puts doubt in his mind. pussies like floyd don't want to fight big tough strong *******s who keep coming keep trying like Margarito does.

floyd had his chance to prove he could beat Margarito and he declined like a *****.

Come out come out where ever you're are Mayweather. You're the only one left to face Manny. But if you want to keep your precious "0" we understand. Manny will be waiting for you. Unless you have the urge to do it. :D

Of course Floyd is gonna win this fight...it's only a fantasy match-up that's why. We all know how Floyd does in those, but in a real fight....well there wouldn't be a real fight between these two now would there?

I think it could be more competitive then the Pac fight was but Floyd would in all likelihood outbox him easily for the majority of the fight.

Even if this thread is stupid, remember who was coming to power in the division right when Floyd conveniently decided to retire...

I'd still love to see this fight. Give Margo 1 or 2 tuneups and if he looks like he still has it, I'd buy it.

Marg would emply a different strategy on floyd, he wont respect Floyds offense as he did Pac so he will probably resort back to his old style of unrelenting assault taking punches to the face just to land his own. He would make it rough for Floyd specially if the weight difference was the same, however Floyd wins a fairly wide decision. Id give Margo 2-3 rounds at most.

if you know anything about boxing you know that floyd would toy with margarito in the early rounds to gauge what margarito has, unless margarito catches him with a crazy shot that embarrasses floyd. without the lucky shot by margarito, floyd would cruise to a decision, while counter punching, potshotting and check hooking the hell out of margarito along the way. with the embarrassment as motivation, floyd has the tools and bad edge necessary to turn up the pressure and tko or stop margarito.

margarito would beat floyd. don't make me laugh...oh wait, you already did.

I'm sure he does, no wonder Floyd duck him and Cotto.
