umm...pavlik beats the hell out of kolle and stops him early. kolle is worse than lockett.

 

When Williams drops down to WW again and can't eat what he wants, he will lose something, some stamina, steam off his punches. I think he'd be murderous at 154. Kolle looked every bit the limited midwestern fighter he is. Matt Vanda had him down for christ sakes. Ringside for Margarito - Williams. Williams won , no doubt, but Margo absolutely had Williams reeling around the ring in the 11th round and Williams showed some real heart bearing down and taking the 12th round to seal it.

 

Walk you are truly basking in your glory,I give you props tho you were one of the few who remained loyal to Williams after his loss to Quintana and you always held the flag up for him.

 

First off lemme say that PTP physically looked good tonight. His body filled out nicely with the added weight he no longer resembled a human toothpick like he has at previous welterweight bouts. Although people say that he is more of a slapper than a puncher, when he sits down on his punches and throws straight shots, as he has in the last 2 fights, he generates some serious punching power. Margarito delivers wide punches and so he will never be the puncher that PTP is.

 

The reason why this is a decent win is because he went up to Middleweight all the way from Welterweight. Showed some excellent speed in the process and serious power. That's why this win isn't a complete joke.

So what if he stunned him in the 11th?, didn't Santos have Margarito all wobbly when they fought?, that doesn't explain it all. It's like saying Hopkins had Calzaghe down in the first so he looked better/won. He had him hurt in the 11th, Williams fires back in the 12th and takes that round as well. Fight ends, Williams wins.

This is why a rematch is called for, sadly one side doesn't seem to be interested and ironically it's the one that lost.

 

yea margo wouldnt stop him in 1 but pavlik most certainly would i want to see williams fight middleweights though everyone knows he can beat most of the welterweights already its stupid

 

Not when certain fans think Margarito is better, Williams is giving him a chance now and if he keeps ignoring it, it will go away from him and that will be yet another loss left ignored in Margarito's resume.
