he really has a granite chin but i'm just curious guys on how margo's chin will fare against punches from top middleweights like pavlik and abraham.
His chin is world class, no doubt, but I don't think he can take either's punches for a full 12 rounds IMO.
if he can't, i think he has no chance when he tried to move up to middleweight given his style (get hit alot).
At welterweight his attributes are just amazing such as chin... if he goes up to middle and faces a notable puncher like Pavlik or Abraham he's getting KO'd Jr. Middle is possible, but he knows he holds huge advantages at WW and these simple will fade away if he chooses to go up.
Snake that "semi chiken dance" was barely a stutter-step and MArgo came right back at him and hit him the very next second. His balance was off but his eyes never seemed to lose focus. However, both Pavlik and Abraham knock him out. PAvlik in a TKO, Abraham KO's him cold. Abraham hits like a mule.
Margie would go down....especially with the body shots. His " Granite " chin would be quickly exposed.
Man he was hurt a lot by that shot. No excuses needed. I like Margo, but he was hurt, not off balance, he got caught by a left he did not see and his legs did do a little dance -- I said semi because it wasn't like a Zab Judah but his legs defo wobbled -- he still fought back recovered pretty fast, but Santos is not a good finisher nor really a puncher man. Absolutely ZERO chin between these two.. Both men overpower, and k.o. Margarito . Abraham within 9, Pavlik within 7.. Pavlik /Marg may lbe Lockett part 2.
One of Pav's Cracling straight rights, or Abes big left wobbles him, and then they both go in for the finish.. I just see Abe being cautious for some reason, hence later stoppage
