margarito's chin against pavlik or abraham

I thought he was hurt too, but after watching it from ur post, man, he doesn't look hurt at all, he looks off balance to me...the southpaw stance

 

a fighter can be both hurt and off balance. I have the fight on my computer, no need for youtube. The video shows quite clearly that after being stunned by a punch, Margo is off balance, so i don't see how you can say that he is not off balance.

Margo was hit with a good shot, did a stutter step, was a little off balance and came right back at Santos. Don't forget that Margo was fighting soutpaw when he took that punch.

As for Santos not really being a puncher, this is how he ended his last fight

imo, the way Margo took that punch from a fighter 10lbs heavier than him is a credit to his chin, not an argument against it.

 

So you are saying its not his chin that sucks, its his strategy?

 

Listen, it wouldnt be Margs fault he'd get sparked by Pavlik, hell, 90% or more of MWTS would get KO'D by Pav..

 

There is no comparison that can be made its silly. Thats why there is different weight divisions, sheeeeeeeet, if your gonna compare **** like that then you might aswell ****ing chuck Mike Tyson in there and see how Margarito's chin holds up against one of his big boy punches.

Pavlik would knockout most Light Heavyweights out if he caught them clean enough,

as with any fighter with a bit of pop would by catching the other fighter clean on the whiskers. It would be curtains for the other guy...

Margarito is just good at keeping his chin down so most of the shots he gets hit with is just bouncing off of his rock head...

Margarito will be done in after 4 more fights if he continues to just absorb those type of shots.
He might end up like Gatti...

His chin is great at 147 above that , My guess is no.

 

If he was a better skilled boxer Id say yes, but his style would play against him at 160.. constantly moving forward on a full fledge middle weight, is a KO reel in the making .

 

AM couldn't take neither Abraham nor PAv's shots at 160 for 12 rounds. There is a reason why there are weight classes.
