I think what Margarito is trying to say is..... well indirectly Margarito is calling Cotto his *****. Score 1 for Margarito and Mexicans. Whenever I have seen mexicans and puerto riquenos go at it, mexicans have always come out on top.

It's a ridiculous statement, a true fan will understand and appreciate that sometimes fighting using your skills and defense is pure art. Trading punches and hitting each other always brings excitement esp. for fans, but is it really smart at certain points. Many fighters around the world and HOL and ATG have quitted once or twice in their careers including Mexicans. You could say Margarito quitted once he inserted his illegal pads and not trusted his natural skills, thats quitting. But we have seen greats like Marquez and DLH quit on their stools, they still have my most respect for even stepping in the ring and what they have accomplish. One fight telling the other fighter you are the better man doesnt mean you are lacking heart, but instead true courage and a lot of balls for accepting that for that one night.

 

Margarito is a dickhead, but he isn't exactly wrong. Cintron is the kernel of truth in that stereotype.
