He's probably just saying that to get into Cotto's head, since we know Cotto can't sell a fight just like Margarito can't box. It's probably an attempt to hurt Cotto's pride and make him trade.
This dude is telling the truth and people are somehow offended. Cotto was in his prime when he did this. Victor Ortiz did the same thing (was not yet prime) and thats why the jury is still out on him. People are quick to group DLH and Chavez in the same group of "quitters" as the aforementioned fighters and I don't think it's a fair assessment as these guys were no longer young and hungry.
Margarito has not fought anyone with plaster in their wraps. Let me know when he does, and we'll see how much heart he has against plastered wraps.
I'm not saying Cotto doesnt have heart, he does and is a tough fighter. But there are tons of less talented fighters that have more heart than Cotto but people dont respect them and just keep saying Cotto is the toughest dude in the business which annoys me.
