I thought yesterday was suppose to be the day that a report was going to be release regarding the substance found on his wraps? Does anyone know anything about this? Because if Im not mistaken I thought I had read in one of Freddy's thread that March 10 was the due date for the report. Anyone??? :huh
I have been telling you guys that we know all were going to know about the situation....There are reasons...1) The CSAC cant really look good no matter what happens, its in their best interest to allow the story to die down...If it comes back that margo had an hardening agent on his gloves then they will face some questions as to how that got by them...Heads would roll...If it comes back that he had nothing on the pad(which we all know isnt the case) then they will have to explain on what grounds they banned him for what will amount to abut a two year ban. 2)While it was going on in the first place, many complained that it was costing too much money, they found what they found and that was Margo was guilty of wrong doing no need to keep going...The pad its self was illegal no need to waste more taxerpayers money to found out what they already know....
Man you guys just dont get it...Your not going to know..Why is that hard to understand. THEY DONT WANT US TO KNOW ANYTHING. Your not going to know because the CSAC will have to admitt they didnt do thier jobs, EITHER WAY...And when someone is investigating themselves they dont usually find wrong doing...However the CSAC cant win, so they want it to die...
I agree with you.....:good 1lehudson, I dont think this story will die down anytime soon and the cloud will continue to hang over Margarito's head for a long time bro. And you know it will be brought up by boxing commentators during all his next fights plus interviews.
Who cares, Margarito sucks anyways. lets just look forward to Cotto-Clottey and Berto-Collazo II, very good matches in the WW division.
I get what you are saying papa but if you were Margarito, wouldnt you want to clear your name? **** I know I would no matter whos fault it was or if the investigation was conducted wrong you know.....I do see your point though but its not going away unless Margarito does an A-Rod move and goes to get hip surgery in order to be out of the boxing scene for the next year lol....
the CSAC will "try" to let it die....but margo's people are working on something big against them..... call the CSAC for yourselves, i did , and though they told me they couldn't tell me anything due to legal reasons, the rep was kind enough to tell me the knuckle pad never hardened "how they were told it would".......
Freddy, Papa if you were Margarito, wouldnt you want to be cleared of all this? You know if he doesnt it will be hanging on him for the rest of his career. So what do you think the CSAC is working on? Or what are Margarito's people working on?
i've heard that margo's people are gonna try to get all this mess overturned....mainly (and not to many people know this), because they didn't know what they were defending themselves against until one day before the hearing....all this time, margo and capetillo thought they had just been accused of wrapping it wrong....not only that, but somebody that was there told me they weren't really letting capetillo explain himself right, and that the interpreter was making it sound like capetillo was apologizing for actually cheating, when that wasn't the case...:good
The original incident, I feel, was nothing more than Margo's trainers trying to protect his hands. Utilizing a knuckle pad and some old gauze. The story has simply gotten blown out of proportion, starting with Jim Lampley's conjecture and tirade. Hopefully Margo's camp will be fully exonerated, followed by lawsuits against CSAC and hopefully Jim Lampley and HBO.
