That what is in the bag is illegal...Gauze isnt, however making the gauge into a block and inserting it in the wrap is illegal...Owning a gun isnt illegal but shotting someone in the face is...Your splitting hairs here, and you know what you have when you split hair??? Hair...no matter how you spin it the insert is illegal, you can check any rule and you will find that its illegal to add PAD which is what that gauze is when its folded on itself that many times. Not only that but it becomes stronger and harder by doing that...Here is the deal, for those of you that have never boxed...

When you get your hands wrapped you are allowed to put gauze over the back of the hand, but it has to be loose, and it has to be PART of the wrap..Meaning you can take a roll of gauze, lay it out the the width of the fighters hands and loosely lay it on the hand and then fold it over to make a cushion, not a weapon. Then you are allowed to take three strips of gauze fold it over once, tie it to the palm side of the guaze and bring it up between the fingers to hold down the loosely laid gauze on the back of the hands.(Here is were the problem with Margo happened, before they put the strips on Margo's trainer slipped the pad, pictured above, under the wrap which is illegal, no matter if there was anything on it or not). After that you can wrap over the once more with gauze and then some tape...At NO POINT are you allowed to pull out a block of gauze and INSERT it in or on the wrap.

So in summary one roll of Gauze to start the wrap, then you can lay one roll of loosely folded gauze, wrap over that, then fold it over, three strips that you tie to the palm side of the hand bring it up between the fingers. Tape that to the wrists. One more roll of guaze to cover and then some tape. No tightly packed or compressed gauze:bart

And for you Freddy to suggest that Im spreading some untruth, because you dont understand HOW to wrap a hand is something that I would expect from some of the teenagers that post here...If you dont fully understand something you shouldnt be so quick to say that someone eles doesnt.

 

it's not illegal to make your own pad bro, pad is pad and it's made to protect the knuckles no matter how you twist it...
each and every state is different, but it's pretty much the same **** when it comes down to wrapping pad....why do floyds fist sometimes look 10x bigger than normal....because he is protecting the knuckle

Your missing the point....There is a way that you have to wrap the hands, the only thing that is different is the amount of certain things that is allowed and the placement..There is never a case were its OK to add EXTRA pad inserts. In baseball its ok to put tape on your bat, but you can only put so much and your only allowed to put it so high..How you put the tape that is allowed isnt important...As long as you stay within the guidelines. Margo and his trainer didnt do that, and no matter how much spin you put on that, its still not legal..And its on two levels..As I stated in the post before..When you pad the back of the hand it has to be part of the wrap, not another piece that you add later. Secondly it cant be compressed, or folded tightly which that was. Im not going to argue the point with you any furture...Its like going at it with my wife, I know Im right, she thinks she right, so there is no point.
