Margarito's drug test due today, so where is the proof?

    Well, it is getting late in the day and people flung the accusations about his steroid use. Have the results been released yet? I'm really doing two things. First, I'm fishing for an update. Two, after all the accusations, if the test comes back negative, I think it needs to go public. Will they bother saying anything if the test was negative or do the accusations just get to live longer? :-(

    I doubt the accusations are true, but since there a rumors they need to go public if they are negative.

    Yeah. There were enough threads about the accusations, I just didn't want it to fall through the cracks and today is the day we are supposed to know by.

    He was roiding.....sounds like cheap shots to me and I'm a Cotto fan. Roids don't help you take a punch. Just ask Fernando Vargas.

    typical cotto fans started by a fan boy telephoning a radio station and then whole country started flooding boards and newspaper with it.

    why dnt cotto fans shut up and admit YOUR BOY LOST. cotto is a great fighter he be better and come back stronger the best fighters lose one time or another making excuses is not the way to do things

    The radio site that broadcasted it EL NUEVO DIA reportedly was commenting on the rumor, not on the proof of it. They themselves stated that there is no way of knowing until the tests come out on the monday following the fight. Until then it is pure speculation and the radio site apparently acknowledged that but I guess everyone who had an agenda took it and ran with it.

    So up until now it was simply a rumor that was picked up by a radio station and then blown way out of proportion. That radio station had better distance themselves before they end up in court. That's really all I know.

    they not even out today, the lab havn't recieved the sample yet, the results are going to come out next week.

    this is a stuped rumour anyway which started from a puerto rican radio presenter, who is now going to get suid for every penny he has got.

    Saturday night and Sunday morning, the great GREAT majority of Cotto fans showed nothing but class after the loss. Don't start slamming "typical Cotto fans" when whatever nutcase was spreading trash was clearly in the minority.
