    The eye issue is a big boost to the fight business wise. More people now are aware and talking about the fight.

    it is a huge factor though i dont think it was pure hype

    ive said in older threads that i think Margo wins again but that if the eye does not hold up he loses

    Real or BS, it was certainly effective in ensuring that Cotto v Marg is in the spotlight! Who would know that Showtime has a competing card on the same night?

    The eye issue is a great hype. I think it's now of equal relevance to the "brick or no brick" issue.

    This fight could possibly do very good numbers.

    I think that not much of a worry. Margo's injured eye is the right eye and Cotto is a righty. Cotto will have difficulties if he will be targetting that right eye. He has to fight as a southpaw to have better leverage.

    He's a converted southpaw...in the quintana fight you can see him struggle to get to him, switches and finishes him.
