There are some real problems in boxing. Margarito has been on both sides of it. First he tries to load his gloves, gets caught, and then gets beatdown. Without winning a fight against a credible opponent, he gets a title fight in a high profile fight and gets the **** kicked out of him. Now he hasn't fought in the year since that beating and is getting yet a other title fight. Even better, his eye might still be ****ed up and he's going against a good puncher who hates his guts and thinks he's less of a person than his dog.
I noticed that his right eye was messed up immediately. Looks like its freakin' dead, blind, can't move it.
Yup, spot on. It actually discourages me from watching these fights. Margarito has no business fighting anymore. Makes you wonder how ****ed up the game really is. It's really sad to me as a hardcore fan. Although people can say Margarito deserves it, to me it's not about the fighter, it is the fact that the people on top of the sport can careless about fighters health. Don't give a ****. If he wants to fight like that and risk his vision, then that's up to him. And if he did fight with loaded gloves (which I strongly suspect he did), what goes around comes around.
