He fights with plastered hand wraps and you feel 'bad' for him?

I think that people think that Cotto will go in there and try to tear Margarito apart. "Redemption", so to speak. That isn't what'll happen. Cotto will be careful, measured, probably still slightly traumatized by what happened in the first fight. He'll win a relatively boring decision.

i agree that it wont be a brawl but some HEAVY BLOWS will be absorbed by marg because hehas no defense yet he never stops coming foward. it will be one sided like the first one was up to rnd 7ish

yet the question stands can cotto last 12 rnds of that

no one wants to see the fight get stopped early because of his eye swelling shut quickly.

this is a big fight factor here that not many have mentioned

if the eye holds up i think Margarito can repeat

Unless Cotto boxes great and Margo dont get goin til too late like the Williams fight

i see Margo wearing Cotto down again and dragging Cotto into a pride brawl

i dont see Cotto in front of his Puerto Ricans fighting a running and avoiding a fight affair i bet he gets rooted on into a dangerous slugfest and loses again as the body shots pile up

people seem to forget cotto was blowing marg out of the water up to round 7.... cotto beat cotto that day with poor endurance and no resistance, he didnt train properly. the handwrap was just icing on the cake and the reason he got KO'd because if marg hadnt kod cotto he very well could have won on score.

but thats just it Margarito is a slow starter and an accumulation guy he doesnt come out and KO you right away

Cotto was expected to get the early lead and just like Margos usual bouts the body attack and pressure won the day

Cotto this time around either needs to do more damage earlier, or box safer, or just win the early portion and really avoid Margo in the second half

i get the idea the fight plays out the same way but who knows, both men are no where near what they were in the first bout

Cotto didnt train and wore himself out, if you watch the fight, margo didnt start doing **** till Cotto couldn't dodge the loaded punches. he wont get tired this time...

with the same token margarito as a lot to prove so time will tell.
