:goodWhich is probably a major reason that the District attorney's office decided not to prosecute Margarito and Capetillo.
We're dealing with an incompetent commision.

Brickhaus' post made this clear. They'd have to prove Margarito knew he had the wraps, which would be difficult. And there wasn't as much incentive to prosecute because he was caught prior to the fight.

I agree with someone above that I hope they reinstate Margarito when he's in his mid-40s and broke, so he fights on ESPN2 for $500 and gets the **** kicked out of him.

They never banned him they revoked his license.

Why was there was substance smeared across the pads? Why were the pads hard?

    Thats what I've always thought......

.......if the commision had actually discovered actual Plaster of Paris, the real thing and not just elements of it........as a citizen here of California, how dare the district attorney not attempt to prosecute one or the other, Margarito or Capetillo or both.

It would have looked shitty if they prosecuted Capetillo and not Margarito.

Why would you want to see an alleged cheater embarrassed when he's in his 40's........would'nt it be much sweeter to see him embarassed right now in his prime........or do you not even want to know the truth and are afraid Margarito will be back in full form and fighting as he always has by destroying the likes of Cintron and making Cotto take a knee and say, 'thats enough."

The thing about this case with Margarito, there are alot of Mayweather and Cotto fans who hate him with a passion and would rather not find out the truth whether Margarito's wraps had a hand in the matter of his victories........
The commision grants him his license, we're pretty much going to find out whether Margarito's sucess was attributed to those handwraps.:yep

    Looked shitty for who.

If they dont have the hard evidence that Margarito knew, but they have it of Capetillo, who the hell comes out looking shitty for prosecuting the man that actually had his hand in inserting the illegal knucklepads???

Because I don't want to see Margarito get a big payday as a result of his notoriety. At that age he won't be worth much, and he most likely will get starched in painful and embarrassing fashion.

And we've already seen Margo without the wraps: dominated and KTFO by an old man.

I'm not a Cotto and definitely am not a Mayweather fan, and in fact I cheered for Margo when I went to the Cotto fight. I just don't respect a fighter who would load his gloves, and hopefully Antonio will get his just desserts.

Because if it wasn't plaster but the pads were hard with a substance smeared on them.

Whether that substance was hemroid cream or hand lotion. It's still not meant to be there. That's why they had their licenses revoked not suspended.

Are you going to tell me that you're in favor of a fighter having his license revoked indefinitely over handcream????

I dont give a **** if it was just handcream, you dont suspend a fighter for that.....thats why you have a ****ing inspector there to make sure that things are done proper.

If handcream is not supposed to be there, thats on the inspector, you dont suspend the fighter over handcream.

....and speaking of the inspector......he's the one that should be prosecuted for falling asleep on the job and not doing his job.
.....that **** signed off on the first handwrap that was also deemed illegal at the hearing.

Excuse my language, but it just gets me steamed that the CSAC try to wash their hands of this and dont come out public admitting that their own inspectors were not on top of things and doing their jobs properly.

No but I do feel you suspend them for having HARD gauze inside their warps which was discovered by the inspectors and shown in court.

I dont believe a wrap was signed off yet.

Margo isn't worth defending, he risked another man's health and career out of greed. Margo is a piece of ****, and that money has to be running low already. Margo at some point will be as relevant to boxing as O.J. is to football. He's a joke , and I wonder what that record really looks like without the bricks lol he may have 10 losses already.

I really hope Margarito fights Abraham at SMW, so i can get my wish seeing Margarito six feet under. I hope he rots in hell with Bob Arum and Carrot top
