like i said before, it was a mistake that they did not stop the fight between pac and margo before concrete damage was done. and now, they may very well be taking another huge mistake by pushing the fight with cotto. his eye is obviously ****ed up and i personally do not want to see that eye go if it could have been stopped.

oh wait, unless i didn't see the sarcasm...

Margaritos eye is no big deal. You can see pertectly well with one eye. Try it yourself by putting a hand before one of your eyes, and you will understand what I mean. Obviously Bob Arum has realized this as well.

But Hayes toe is a different story. I almost cried my heart out during the press conference after the fight, where he brought up the issue. It was one of the few genuine touching momements for me as a boxing fan. Not only did he put up with a smaller locker room than Wlads before the fight, he also fought with that horrible injury.

Unfortunately I dont think there is anything we can do to stop him from once more trying to save the belts from the east european mob.

The problem with Haye was always that he put the good of the sport above himself. Like when he fought Audley Harrison and finally made a go for it in the third. I was all like "Oh, no. Dont do it. You might get punched."

I can't say I've seen the Harrison fight to be honest. I like I think I have a pretty strong stomach, but the Haye - Harrison and that Mexican chainsaw execution are the only two videos I can't bring myself to watch. Too brutal

Haye's fighting a full 12 rounds with such an injury reminds me of how Margarito fought with an injured orbital bone a full 12 rounds against Pacquiao. It was saddening to see that toe. The fight should have been stopped! Such injuries should never be allowed in our dear sport!

Im unsure how to feel, on one hand I care deeply on a personal level about Haye and dont want him to lose due to injuries in fights he would usually win easily. But Haye is the Heavyweight of our generation and watching him fight you know you are watching something special. I cant wait to tell my grand kids about the Hayemaker and how he saved the heavyweight division and brought boxing back to the front.

Yeah, one ****ed up, painful-as-hell-looking toe. No way could a man be expected to fight on that toe. No way.

Haye should have just come clean as soon as it felt painful and have the ref call the fight a NC. Too brave for his own good
