He needs to rematch both guys. I think he should rematch Williams just to try to get revenge.

    Another Margaito EXCUSE!

The problem has nothing to do with Al Haymon! It is no secret that Al Haymon and Bob Arum are not the closest of friends. BUT DON'T KID YOURSELF!

Bob Arum stated himself in the post-fight interview in L.A. that he wasn't particularly interested in risking all of his belts against the same guy, when asked if Cotto would be the next opponent for Williams.

Margarito himself isn't a chicken, although I think he is a little apprehensive about the whole Williams matchup. It's mostly his management who knows that Paul is just ****in BAD for his career - plain and simple.

And they would much rather let someone else take care of Paul than to risk Margarito's image of invincibility being tarnished. If they were to fight again, it would be in front of a MUCH bigger audience, and not only would they see much more footage of what took place the first time, they would most likely get to see a repeat. It's better for them to keep that fight as the "*" in his career than to relive it.

And his fans are such maniacal sheep that they not only buy all of his post-fight excuses, (LATE START, NEVER GOT HURT, ROBBED, ETC.) they are even prepared to forget MAJOR points of the fight (THE FACT THAT PAUL WHIIPPED HIS ASS IN THE 12TH), as well as the whole negotiation process (THE FACT THAT PAUL HAD BEEN CALLING HIM OUT FOR OVER A YEAR AND ONLY GOT THE FIGHT BECAUSE THEY MADE IT MANDATORY).

Pretty chicken-**** if you ask me! IF Margarito is supposed to be king of 147, and if he wants to be touted as the most feared boxer, he needs to IMMEDIATELY fight the guy who methodically spanked his ass already!

Rubbish. These guys fought first match and Margaritto was owned.Wasnt there animosity during the first fight?

Also Arum has animosity against Mayweather yet he calls Mayweather anywhere he sees a microphone.

    I doubt Margarito fears Williams..

Who is the WBO's #1 WW Contender anyone know?
I'd like to see Williams fight Kermit Cintron. (If possible)

Cotto should get The winner of Berto/Forbes
And Margarito will go thru with Arums OG plan of fighting
this Sat's winner Vs. last Sat's winner.

Williams won a razor thin decision.

Margarito started slowly and gave away the early rounds.

    Tony will win the rematch.

Ive noticed people here who want to watch Williams vs Margarito 2 want to see that fight because they really think Williams will beat Margarito in a rematch and they want to see Margarito lose. I want this fight to happen too to prove otherwise, as I know Margarito will take Williams the second time around, he just got off too slow (as he typically does), and needs to not make that same mistake the second time around. Nevertheless, the more damage in the Margo-Williams fight I was done by Margarito, so I can envision Margarito starting off faster in a rematch and possibly knocking out Williams in the late rounds. However, if the fight cant happen, Margo has other welterweights to deal with in the meantime, beginning with Josh Clottey.
Lets see what Clottey breaks this time around in the rematch. Im not buying the whole broken hand thing in the 4th round, because I recall Clottey using the hand even after he claimed to have broken it. He used it when it was convenient, just as he had supposedly broken it when things got to hot in the kitchen.

Wait a minute, Arum won't match Margo with Williams because of the animosity he has towards Haymon due to the Mayweather situation. However, we're supoposed to believe that he would try to make a fight between Cotto/Margo and Floyd? That doesn't make sense.

Razor thin decision because it was in Margarito's backyard at the Home Depot. It should have not been scored nearly as close as it was, in most people's opinions. And as far as giving away the early rounds... Isn't that what he always does? You can't change the spots on a leopard.

And so we are to just BELIEVE he would win the rematch because all of his rabid fans and a few experts say so???

    HE NEEDS TO PROVE IT!!!

But really? I don't have a huge problem with the fight not happening, just don't go around trying to call out other fighters and act like he's the most feared man in boxing and no one wants to fight him.

Stop trying to paint him as the top Welter, and then make PITIFUL ****ING EXCUSES why he shouldn't fight the man who beat him last!

Margarito is going to wup Clottey's ass. And I don't think Clottey is going to have that much of an easy time with Judah.
