MARGARITO'S PERFORMANCE WAS SPECTACULAR! The more I watch it, the more I see how well

Margarito clearly won the second round.

 

apparently so...

 

the first round was cotto's best round. Absolutely beautiful boxing.

The first 6 rounds (minus the second) sweep by Cotto is overstated. A lot of the tension and excitement came from the first viewing when we didn't know if Margarito would be able to take those sharp counters. On second viewing, you see all the work Margarito does and it just looks like a steam rolling to be honest. Cotto was never in control, he only retaliated when cornered.

Anyone who gives Margo more than two of the first six needs to watch more boxing, as do those who had Cotto 8-2 up :deal

 

haven't read the thread but once I read this comment..that's all there is to say.. I haven't yet seen the fight, but I have huge respect for both fighters. Whether or not PBF is better than either one, is debatable, but it was these two who sought out the best not PBF and for that they deserve props. As long as the two best seach each other out and give it their best, then unless you have $$ on the fight, who wins matters less than the two best entertaining us to the best of their abilities. This is what boxing is all about!!

 

I thought this round was very close. I can understand it going either way or even 10-10 but i dont think you can say either man clearly won it.
