Margarito's Team: "We are next in line for Pacquiao"

Antonio Margarito vs. Luis Resto.

That's what I really want to see.

He fought Hatton, KTFO by Mayweather, and Cotto, DESTROYED by Margarito, AFTER the fact that they were dominated INSTEAD of fighting the man that dominated them. Now he is going to do it again because he won't face Mayweather because of drug testing so will face Margarito.

It is better to be thought a fool in silence than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Next time just ask me what I am talking about.

 

Not too sure how competitive this match would be. Margarito was filled in by Mosley in what turned into a savage beating. Pacquiao is punching so hard and with such speed he could possibly take Margo out in a few rounds. Blocking with your face against Pacquiao doesn't work out well.

The two big questions for me are, has his KO to Mosley 'cracked' his chin? And how has his long lay off affected him?

Even if Margarito's whiskers did hold up, Pac won't gas like Cotto, and Margo is an accumulation puncher, I don't know how many he would accumulate against the significantly faster Pacquiao.

That being said, it's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing. I an ideal world I would take a Cotto rematch, hopefully Cotto could get revenge!

I doubt if AM would get his license back this year. If he does, I would love to see a Cotto/Margarito rematch w/ Cotto winning by TKO. If the FMJ/Pac fight doesn't materialize, I would go w/ a Pac/Berto fight. Just wishful thinking on my part.

 

That ish would break my heart to see Cotto lose like that again.

I am happy with Marg being caught cheating forever making us not respect the win.

Seeing that ish happen again would be like seeing Buster Douglas KO Tyson
