So what he went life and death with Collazo? Hatton also beat Zoo an ATG at 140. Hell I could say Cotto went life and death with Torres and Chop Chop as well at 140 which he did. Atleast Hatton won a linear title at 140 and a belt at 147. There's nothing ridiculous about my post. Hatton was a top 6 or 7 boxer in the world when they met. It also made up part of the criteria of PBF being fighter of the year for 2007 so the win can't be that bad.

Hernandez was 32 and the top rated fighter in the division. He was also a 3-1 favorite. Mayweather was a 17 fight veteran who fought no one of note up to that point. That's a pretty good win.

I am giving Margo his props while documenting the ways that Floyd and his camp systematicaly discredited Margo and were wrong in doing so. If you cant deal, then stay out of the thread.

Cotto was ranked 6th by ring (with Marquez, Bernard, and Vasquez ranked above him which is questionable).

Corrales was ranked 5th p4p at the time.

    Still no reasons for comparison?

That's your opinion I disagree and his track record against speedy defensive fighters agrees with me as well.

Like I said, say something relevent or stay out of the thread. I already conceeded the territory you are trying to gain here (that Floyds resume as a whole is better) in the first post of the thread.

    Stay on point.

Pimp you have repeatedly said that Cotto is the superior boxer to Hatton.

His track record doesn't possess any fighters that were anywhere near in prime Hoya's league. Not credible.

Corrales was number 3 on the p4p list when floyd fought him.

Castillio I think may have been ranked 10 not sure.

The respective fights were at welterweight, you are a knowledgable guy and should realise how this affects the respective fighters. Hatton's track record is going life and death with Luis Collazo at 147, this is because he's a brawler relying on physical strength which he can't impose on bigger men. Cotto's track record is wins over Mosley, Judah and Quintana, at a weight he is clearly more comfortable at.

You are blowing some hot air there.

He is a superior boxer but hasn't had a superior career so far, not to mention he was the superior boxer to Margo and looked what happned there.:good Hatton's career is better than Cotto's.

This is why the Hatton win is discredited more than it should be. Floyd is not a big Welter. Whereas Collazo come into his fights at 162, Mayweather comes in at about 148. Size was not an issue in that fight. If people want to knock the win because Hatton was overrated to begin with, that's fine. However, the fact that it was at 147 made no difference.

The fact is PBF is 1-0 against Oscar and would always pose a stylistic nightmare for him at any weight 154-130 at any age. Oscar never was faster than PBF nor did he have better stamina or better defense, footwork or ring generalship. All he had over PBF was a better jab and power. I'd pick PBF to beat Oscar 8 out of 10 times.
