Margarito's wrap makes no sense to a person with logic..

I've been reading all these threads, and I know I'm going to be flamed endlessly after I give my take, but nobody else seems to get it so here goes:
Why the hell would Marg's trainers use this illegal ****...Whenever you have Mosley's team watching him wrap his hands ILLEGALLY?! WTF?! Just like Steward said...How many fighter's trainers watched as they did this?
Does that not seem like utter bull**** to you. It'd be like me fighting Mosley. Mosley's team are watching it...My trainer casually wraps my hands, and then pulls out 2 brace knucks, puts them on my hands, and then slides the gloves over top :patsch
Why would you do this to ruin your reputation?!

So, here goes the conspiracy part. Doesn't this **** seem like Pro wrestling to you? Not only does Margarito lose in embarrasing fashion. So embarrasing I think Pac would have knocked him out within 6! So, boxing wise he is diminished. Not only has he been diminished inside the ring, but his reputation as a whole has been diminished!
It's like in pro wrestling where they destroy somebodies character...Just honestly this story seems more entertaining than most WWE storylines anymore.

So, heres the part where I get flamed. I don't know if I believe this at all. Boxing is so damn shady, and has been for years (that's why it went away before). You had Ali getting decisions that weren't even close when he was an old man, and there the reason he looks like he does now! It seems like whenever there's a lot of $ on the line, and the odds really favor one guy..The other one dominates. It seems like the team of De La Hoya (who did actually got his destruction for whatever reason), Mosley, B-Hop run boxing.
So here's what I say the storyline is. They use the illegal handwrap to taint Marg's victory over Cotto (check). Mosley destorys Margarito (check). Cotto comes back to destroy Margarito...It must have just been the wraps. Cotto vs Mosley rematch. After that fight I'm expecting Margarito to be dressed in a mask, jump the rail, and body slam the winner! They'll be bringing his character back after they repackage him! ;)

I know I'll get flamed, but had to make my point. Don't see how this is such a hard concept to grasp whenever any sport makes millions of dollars. Many boxers, many sports team, etc have obviously thrown fights/ games in the past for something that seems to make more financial sense.
Perhaps I'm completely off. Marg was an idiot who cheated right infront of Mosley's team :nut, and then a 37 year old Mosley takes a Prime 30 year old Marg (who has taken sledgehammer blows to the face by more powerful guys) down with stringing a few good punches together :think

Are you ****ing ******ed? Did you watch the fight? Did you see the beating Marg took? Did you see the punches landing? Did you see how he looked when he got up in between the 8th and the 9th? If it was fixed, why the **** would Antonio insist on going out into the 9th to take more punishment (which was undoubtedly very, very real) when his corner was ready to throw in the towel then and there. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut. Is Mosley beating Margo any more implausible than Pac beating DLH or Hopkins beating Pavlik. Grow some ****ing sense.

Go out in the 9th to make it look better?
I do agree about the B-Hop/ Pavlik, and De La Hoya/ Pac fights as well. Notice...Those were the 3 guys I mentioned that run boxing. I have no doubt B-Hop could beat pavlik, but that fight was crap. Pavlik looked terrible (even though he could have made to look terrible against B-HOP).
Pac/ Oscar I wonder. I like Pac, but even I wondered how easily he dominated the fight. Some people on here had the theory that De la Hoya lost to Pac so Golden boy promotions could promote Hatton/ Pac, and make tons of $. I could see it..I mean Oscar can't last forever, and passing the torch so to speak?

Anyways, you helped my case. Margarito looked old, sluggish, tired (at 30 years old). Pavlik looked sluggish, and tired against B-HOP. De La Hoya looked like a man that needed crutches to stand....
and these are suppose to be the top professional fighters. Seems like none of them had much heart to them, and didn't go out in a blaze of glory.

As for some people might bring up...The punches were legitimate obviously. Very true, but for millions of dollars I'll let you string together as many punches as you want, and I'll gladly go down for you. Margarito gets hammered every fight anyways, and has poor defense. Like it'd really matter to him to let somebody wallop him, and fall down...

Seems highly unlikely too me. To throw a fight is one thing, but Margarito will get crucified if the accusations are truel. Why the hell should he do that? Ruin your reputation for a few bucks? Its not that Margarito is a poor man and needs a few extra dollars.

Exactly. If I'm his opponents trainer, and I observe that his fist looks like a small cast, and hard as rock...I think I'd fear for my fighters safety, and uhh...Don't let him fight my guy with a damn cast on the end of his fist!
That's why I call bull****. Nobody is going to train somebody for years, and then watch as a guy destroys his fighter due to cheating!

CAn anybody disagree with this comment? I could see trying to cheat if nobody observes them, but I'm sure 9/10 times they watch him.

..or, Mosley was simply the much better fighter.

Also, it's not out of the ordinary for a trainer from the other side to check on the other fighter. If you can remember, Roach also visited DLH's dressing room before the bout against Pac Man.

Stop making assumptions, how do you know it was done before? his hands were re wrapped, not like he was on steroids and cheated.

Why is the idea so improbable to you? How many fighters have used roids before and got caught? That's right, a lot.

If I were Cotto I would be raising hell right now. Cotto should demand a rematch with Margarito.
