... see here, pause at minutes 1:27 and again at 1:39. Also, for a longer look (albeit further away) go to minute 4:51 and 5:15 and take a look at it, and pause throughout or slow it down.

To me, people are making a case about the left hand. But it doesn't appear to be loaded, and even so, Margarito was hurting him with right hands as well.

I think Margo fought the first fight clean. It is not uncommon for fighters to break or damage hands in fights, so it is a fair guess to say that wraps become loosened or ruptured due to the trauma casued.

How do you feel about it?

Since caught-- Margarito has lost every fight because he's lost that advantage. So, no, I don't think he fought the first fight, or any fight with his old trainer, clean.

It's not uncommon to break or damage hands, it's very very uncommon for the hand to bleed, I've never ever come across it. That would lead us to believe something was hard or sharp pressed up to the fist

Secondly you might not be able to see it, neither could Nasim Richardson until he inspected them

My problem with this is why wouldnt he load up for a prime cotto but does for mosley where he is favoured to win it.

Margarito was clean. Whats up with Nonitos wraps against Vazquez jr though? They had more blood on it than his wifes tampan.

my guess is the first time he ever tried to load up, he got caught

considering his opponent - Sugar Shane, Antonio felt he needed an extra edge, whereas he probably fought his other previous fights clean

Nonito burst a vein in his finger, causing his finger to swell and slipt. Pretty nasty.

Tony's fingers showed no similar swelling from the first Cotto fight.

Now seeing the wraps at the end of it, knowing what we know about fighters and hand trouble, he fought Cotto clean in the first fight. Cotto's face was busted up in the second fight too- not as much damage though, but Margo had clearly slowed down.

I think Margo wanted to counter Shane's speed with more power. Shane is a Mexicutioner, more so than Pac-man is.

To be fair, Margo fought Shane, Pac-man and then Cotto for the second time. We can hardly say he fought no-names and lost, for us to say before that BECAUSE his hands "may have been" loaded in the first Cotto fight and was caught by Richardson and then he lost to everyone after that- he fought the top guys in the division after this.

The argument is that he was out of shape before Mosley and had to drop weight quickly to make the limit, so used the wraps to help him out.

Personally I think he cheated in both and should have been banned for life.
