Margartio on STERIOD rumors!!!

Let's not start this ****. They test them for this.

 

Probably started in Puerto Rico since I've been hearing the same **** since sunday

 

it is a big rumor here in the island since yesterday. However, newspapers and Cotto's ppl dismissed t as just a rumor. They say test results would only be in by thursday or friday, so there cant be any proof of it now.

I would like to know how it all started though. Other than Margo looking like a possesed steal demon on sat night, there is no other proof.

 

I saw another thread yesterday confirming that the results are out on either Wednesday or Thursday......

Load of bollocks - the guy won fair and square. Just because it wasn't what some people wanted they have to start discrediting people.

PROOF or LINK before opening a thread like this man... even if there are rumors (true or false), it's a delicate subject, so at least some evidence or the source of the rumor (where we can check) needed...

 

Because people are uptight and cannot explain how their boy lost. Even though the fight was a literal 50/50 in the eyes of those who knew better.

Stranger things have happened but I'd be downright shocked. As far as I could tell he lived up to his potential. If he was on steroids for Cotto then he must have been on them for Santos and Williams and Clottey and Diaz and Cintron too, because he was just as relentless there.

 

I've also heard that he's got an illegal bionic chin implant too.

 

this is a bunch of bull****...cotto got beat like a man and he's taking his beating like a man ... margarito was just the better fighter...

would be truly disturbing if he does come out that he was under the influence of something

 

in that case what would happen? DOes he get stripped and the belt is returned to Cotto? Does the belt become vacent (sp?)?

 

The rumor started at a local radio station in PR and Im simply disgusted by it, the Cotto camp has already denied too. It doesnt make US look good to the rest of the world. There is also a controversy were people in PR are be questioned for rooting for Margarito on fight night instead of rooting for Cotto the home-boy you know. We are going to root for a home-boy first but we are also fans who know the sport you know. So of course some of us saw something in Margarito that told us Cotto couldnt and wouldnt beat him and stuck to that. I hate the fact that rumor came out of PR though....

Fight would be ruled a no contest, belt would be stripped and Tony would be fined.

 

It would make NO SENSE for Margarito to be on steroids. The last thing a guy who is too big for his weight class needs is something that causes him to retain water. Guys who are too small for their weight class can take steroids and be fine, but for guys who are big for the division, steroids just make it harder to make weight.
