I think Margarito would pressure him like he did in the Golden Johnson fight and overwhelm him much faster and better than with Cotto !

    Margo take it.

In the first fight Paul was the only one hurt, check that 11th round. Margo wasn't a bit bothered by Pauls punches. Margo said that fight made him better.
Margo will start out sooner using more body shots this time around.

Margarito, with improved confidence, gets an earlier start in the rematch

Williams could win again if Margarito starts slow.

    I've picked Williams by UD.

Margarito excels at beating up on smaller men but has problems against fighters who are a similar stature to himself (5'11" and above) who are southpaws. Margarito knows Williams can beat him and Williams knows he can beat Margarito, the psychological aspect of a fight shouldn't be underestimated.

The almost beatification of Margarito since the Cotto fight is pretty lame. Cotto had the man looking stupid for the first 5 and then for whatever reason seemed to lose heart or gas. Margarito has been beaten in the past, and will more than likely be beaten again in the future, Cotto wasn't the man to do it last time out but Williams did it 12 months ago and I think that he has more than an even chance of doing it again.

Judging by the responses, I'm truly wondering how many of these folks actually saw the fight.

Williams 'ready to go' in the 11th? Margo 'started slow'? Pray tell, what were y'all watching?

Margo didn't start slow. He couldn't handle Paul Williams' volume of punches and handspeed. He was getting outboxed AND outhit, with Williams winning almost every exchange. Williams DOMINATED those early rounds.

Around the 7th, Margo started fighting desparately because he HAD to, and STILL was eating leather. Then Margo shot his wad in the 11th. Williams weathered this so called 'storm', then went right back to dominating with his jab and volume, easily winning the 12th as a somewhat gassed Margarito did mostly nothing.

If a green, inexperienced Williams took the best that the champion had, and STILL finished with a stronger 12th round, throwing over 100 punches when the fight was 'allegedly' on the line, then there is no reason to believe that anything changes.

A 'faster start' by Margo will only lead to Margo running out of gas earlier. We've already seen that Margo can't knock out Williams, and he can't overwhelmed him either. Margarito can't maintain that type of pace for 12 rounds, all the while seeing a constant barrage of jabs, straight lefts, and right hooks coming back from the bigger fighter.

Margarito doesn't want to see Paul Williams again, in no way, shape or form.

    Bingo.

And that was an inexperienced version of Paul Williams that Margo already lost to.

I think that was Margs worst fight ive seen I almost turned it off that being said Williams still had a tough fight on his hands

You wont see that Margs again hes focused and knows what he needs to do

Margs by a huge UD or by TKO

Williams hugs not drugs tactics wont work this time

All the Margarito excuses are just ****in hilarious! Margo got his ass SCHOOLED for 7 straight rounds... Paul started getting caught and actually took Margarito's very best punches in the 11th. AND NO HE WAS NOT ABOUT TO GO DOWN IN THE 11TH... That's wishful thinking! And HOW COME NONE OF MARGARITO'S FANS EVER MENTION THE 12TH ROUND?!?!?

Margarito knows ****in well he don't want NO PARTS of Paul Williams! And this media love-fest with Margarito is sickening! They asked him about everyone out there in the interview before the Clottey fight, but NEVER mentioned to him why he wont take Paul Williams... Max Kellerman's ***** ass wants to try calling out Mayweather, but he had Margarito RIGHT THERE and won't dare mention to him why he's ducking a man who already beat him!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MR. MEXICAN ****IN WARRIOR?!?!?!
