Yes, I liked Marg, was bummed when he lost to Williams. The guy waited so long to get to the top and for what? -to call out De La Hoya who has no title and who is actually a fighter at 154? I know its for the money and it is probably the biggest paycheck he will get but I just don't like the transparency of greed. Sure, Hoya is a greedy ****er too, but we all knew that already. I just think if a boxer wants to arrive where Hoya is at he should take the Hoya route and fight one great fighter after another until it happens. I remember early fights of Hoya where he was actually booed by the crowd, it happened very often.

 

Cotto was favored for stylistic reasons, sure, and Marg did a very good job in busting Cotto's style so that he never employed body attack and fought off the backfoot. I'll give you that.

I agree with Margarito, but you would have to be mentally ******ed not to see that GBP name dropping Williams is just a ploy for them to save face and look serious.
