If you haven't noticed one thing about Cotto's career that was most evident in the build up to yesterday and the actual fight. COTTO IS COLD AS ICE, HE DOES NOT GIVE A **** OUTSIDE OF THE RING ONLY IN IT. I bet he can't wait to get in the ring with Margo, he's tired as **** at the press conference, so is everyone else and in reality they can't be bothered to be there but are required. Margs is happy as **** Cotto won because he just struck more $, wouldn't you be if you were him?

Cotto will slit Margarito's plastic face up so bad they'll be borrowing clips for the next SAW movie.

Cotto already said in the post fight interview that he wanted to fight margarito. Is a done deal the promotion already started.

Jesus, it does'nt take even an knowleadgeable fan to figure out based on last nights Mayorga fight that Cotto will fail vs Margarito again.....


Its plain and simple to decipher. Its like a two piece puzzle, easy to put together........
........Cotto is the better skilled fighter for sure. But what Cotto was able to physically sustain for only 6 rounds, Pacquiao was able to sustain for 12 rounds, and it was the difference between winning and losing.

Had Pacquiao had Cotto's stamina and toughness, he'd have met the same fate vs Margarito that Cotto did.
......how anyone having seen the Mayorga fight can dispute that is beyond me.



The reality of this situation is that Cotto if he wants to beat Margarito at any cost, needs to hook himself up with a physical trainer and nutritionist thats going to put him on a similar PED regimen that Pacquiao's under.

Cotto needs major improvements to his physical stamina. He's not even close to the level of conditioning Margarito walks into the ring with.

The only thing Arum ever backed was his business interest. The cheato story was great publicity and the opposite storyline developed South of the border (punished innocently), Margarito did superb at the gate in his return and helped selling the Pac PPV. And all roads lead to the Cotto rematch, everybody has an interest in it (Mexico: win wasn't a fluke, PR: cheated, rest: let the rematch decide).

Arum was smart supporting and keeping Margo at Top Rank and now he's gonna make crazy money off it, and I never blamed anyone putting on a good fight, Bob played his cards right. It has nothing to do with respect or disrespect, and Margarito wants to prove his side of the story as much as Cotto his.

I don't think it's a lie that Cotto's right hand is looking much better and I believe this is a better weapon along with a Steward gameplan to help him fight Margo make it different fight to the first.

Cotto just moved up to 154 took on a lighter puncher in Yuri Foreman but still a decent fighter for a test and won the title, had surgery to correct injuries and took a long while to rest and heal alot of past wounds and just came back to get a very good but surprising workout from Mayorga.

Margarito just got the living **** beat out of him but Pacquiao, that isn't even Margarito's face anymore he just visited the Rhinoplasty and got one made out of otter skin.

Cotto takes off Margarito's face with a thunderous left hook, it's going to look like sick and the dvd edition will be rated X. Margarito's face is going to land in Brandon Rios lap, he'll do his trademark scream. Scorpion from Mortal Kombat will appear and say FATALITY. Or something similar. :deal

 

I don't think so man. Steward said Cotto followed his directions to a T and that Mayorga came in better shape than he thought I would. And honestly he did for most people.

As long as Cotto doesn't get into another pissing contest with Margarito, he should win. If he lets the match devolve into another "let's see who can eat the most shots" competition, he'll crumble in the corner again.

 

Mayorga in great shape, still could only fight in spurts.
When Mayorga had sucess closing a round and exherted energy, he was visibly gasping for air inbetween rounds waiting for the next.
Coming out for the next he could'nt pick off where he left off.

One thing is clear here........Mayorga is nowhere near the fighter that faced Trinidad, DLH, and even Mosley a couple of years ago........
.....and yet there he was, getting to Cotto and doing what most boxing experts did'nt think would happen vs Cotto........Making the fight competitive and making Cotto have to work for it.

I believe this is due more to Cotto's decline than anything Mayorga did.

Margarito hurt Pacquiao enough in their match that Pacqauiao had to for the first time in a long time cancel his postfight concert.

Pacquiao went ahead with his concert after the Cotto fight, but cancelled vs Margarito......

I wonder if Margarito loaded his handwraps for Pacquiao as well????
