I just figured, most of us usually figures that boxer vs. boxer, or a battle between counterpunchers/cuties would end up in a boring fight to last the full route. On the other hand a fight between two powerpunchers, especially if one or both has weak chins, is guaranteed action packed and won't last the distance. Most of the time, they rung true. Now how about a fight which guarantees action, though one of the combatants aren't exactly a puncher, but the style of both men are somewhat similar. That they rely on their imperviousness to punishment and pain just to move forward and impose their will on their opponents. But they but had chins of steel that no opponents has made a dent of their whiskers no matter how many tried. So you can pretty much expect it to last the distance regardles of many punches they can throw. I just figure Margo has an advantage because of workrate. But skillwise, they may not be too far apart.
Skillwise not too far apart??? You've gotta be joking. Margarito is easily a class above that glorified regional journeyman. He has every advantage over the mediocre Baldomir - power, size, overall ability, everything. This fight would a mismatch, with Margarito winning every round and probably getting a late stoppage.
Baldomir would run into a brick wall. Margarito would use his reach to put an absolute pounding on the guy. I dont think Baldomir wants to be know as the next pocket rocket.
