It would have helped him little bit, because that 4lbs would translate to more than 4lbs water-weight gained between the weigh-in & fight night, so he'd be somewhat stronger, but ultimately pac would still brutally beat him up.
Just a pole thread. Voted no myself.Maybe a slightly healthier Margo, with a similar outcome to the fight.
Would it help Margo? Yeah he wouldnt have to dehydrate as much so of course it would benefit him. Would he still have gotten mauled? Yes because based on styles and speed Pac is going to kill him every time. Which makes the whole catch weight thing so ****ing stupid. Its just to give pac an edge but he doesnt need the edge. I mean its a vacant belt already and just takes away from his legacy more that its not even at the weight limit when he could have just as easily won the fight at the proper weight.
To be honest you know what i feel...Manny is getting a great training camp every time out.One of the reasons imo is,he never has to cut back or put weight loss into his training regimen.Manny goes into camp eating whatever he wants, shakes in between and just focuses on conditioning and stradegy.Unlike his opponents who have to put cutting weight into there training regimen. To me,thats an unfair advantage that Manny does not need. I mean, these fighters already have to train and make weight yes even at there respected divisions, but then you give them more of a weight restriction and it has to take its toll on a fighter.Especially fighters at the near end of there careers and been through wars already. I say Manny does not need these advantages because yes,i feel he is that good. To me,i feel its not Pacquioa at all.Meaning imo Manny would fight anyone. It's just the people around him (F.Roach) that i believe is strategizing these weight or any other demands. Im sure Pac doesn't mind it much though.:hey
