Margo being on the Ring top 10 P4P list was a joke

    Yeah I said it a joke. Where did he ever display P4P skills? The fact that he went to 154 lost to a guy like Santos and ran back down tells you everything you need to know about him. Thes guy's limited skill set didn't translate to a P4P fighter. I never understood why just because he beat Cotto he should shoot up into the Ring's rankings. The guy has a size advantage over most at 147 without that he's no good. He would never be able to make it at 160 let alone 154. He's one of the worst Ring P4P top 10 fighters in a long time.:deal

    pimp c good post i completely agree i never understood that, why would they even consider him for ring p4p.

    Well, it's based more on what you do at your weight class rather than the "what-if" scenario of how good each fighter would be if they all weighed the same. Or else, Pavlik would have no business being on any P4P list but he is the MW champ. There will continue to be limited fighters like Marg and Pavlik on P4P lists as long as they are doing great things at their weight divisions.

    He got in the P4P by beating good welters. Clottey, Cintron and Cotto could very well be the best welters out there and he beat all three. As far as the height advantage, wouldn't that mean that Paul Williams should be a light heavy. Lets be real and stop the double standards.

    You can't really say he is good only cause he's big. That's like saying he's only good cause he's faster than everyone else

    Kelly is way more skilled than Margo is period. He went up in weight to 170 and lost to an ATG in Hopkins no shame in that. While Margo couldn't get past Santos at 154. I feel Kelly will still be elite at 160 he has elite power for the divison. Not to mention I think he can go up to 168 and compete at an elite level and what I mean by that is he could win a belt there. Unlike Margo would never win **** at 154.

    All of the names on the Ring top 10 list have won titles or fights in multiple divisons

    1.Pac Yes
    2.Calzaghe yes
    3.Hopkins Yes
    4.JMM Yes
    5.Vasquez Yes
    6.Margo **** no
    7.Rafa M yes
    8.Hatton yes
    9.Calderon Yes
    10.Williams yes

    What's the only name that sticks out like a sore thumb? Margo that's who he doesn't belong in the same breathe as those other fighters period.

    Well in Margo's defense he did beat Cintron twice by ko and took his title from him. He beat Cotto by ko and took his title from him. He beat future title holder in Clottey. So by looking at it, he beat three world champs at 147. He fought a close fight with PW and lost but he more then made up for it. I dont like Margo but I got to give him his due. If he fights berto he ko's him too.

    I disagree. Berto is a poor man's Mosley. Margo wouldn't be able to deal with his speed. Berto is strong he would tie Margo up just like Mosley did and beat him to the punch and repeat.

    Did you see Berto's last fight? He barely escaped with that title. Collazo fought Berto inside and Berto couldnt do much. Margo is was bigger, Way stronger and more brutal then Collazo. If Collazo can manhandle Berto I know for sure that Margo can as well.

    Collazo is also very underrated the man can box and fight. There's no shame in going life and death with a guy like Collazo. I would like to see a rematch but if that doesn't happen I would like Collazo to fight someone like Clottey.
