Cotto beats up Margarito again, but gets the win this time, like he should have the first time around. No plaster = Cotto wins. This is one of the purposed fights I want to see because I will enjoy Cotto whopping Margarito's ass just like he was doing in the first fight except this time around Margarito won't hurt Cotto as much due to not having his bricks.
Cotto does'nt have enough power to stop Margarto. But he could outbox him to win UD if he play smart though.
I don't think Cotto has the power to hurt Margarito, nor do I think he has the stamina to continue what he has to do to win for 12 rounds. Margarito will again lose the early rounds and end up beating the **** out of Cotto in the latter rounds.
This is the fight which will give the best indication whether Margo was using plaster pre-Mosley or not. I'd like to think Cotto will be smarter in this fight, throwing his patented body shots early, and I can see him boxing and moving to a decision victory.
I'm not gonna say Margarito was indeed using plaster when he fought Cotto because there's no proof but the way he punched cotto in the body and how Cotto reacted to those punches is really weird.
I'd like to see them fight a decent tune up first before I was to pass my opinion. It's so hard to guage what a fighter has left after seeing them in with Pacquiao as he is beginning to make even the toughest of opponents look like ponies. I know Cotto has semi redeemed himself but lets face it, Foreman hardly hits like his namesake george does he?
i would love it if cotto beats him. as a cotto fan, it was awful to see him get punished against him the first time and to be honest he hasnt been the same since. if he was to fight him, convincingly beat him then it would do good for Cotto's confidence and repair what was broken.
I had Margarito by KO in the first fight but thought then if Cotto ever took a re-match that he'd win it. Obviously a lot has happened since but I'll stick with my original thinking and say Cotto UD.
