Peter Rivera (Juanma's manager) just admitted that they never made ANY offer to Caballero. There is a big new interview in b********.com with him and here's what he said about it:

FP: Comentando sobre Celestino. Que de cierto es que cuando estaba sonando un combate López-Caballero a Celestino se le ofreció una cantidad de dinero que el rechazo?

PR: No, es no es cierto. Siempre quien creo la expectativa de la pelea fue la gente de Caballero. Todo atleta busca hacer su trabajo y Celestino estaba haciendo el suyo. Buscando su pelea y tiene que hacerlo así.

A el nunca se le hizo oferta. Pero hay algo que no guarda mucha lógica. Si el hubiera tenido tantas ganas y hubiera hecho una oferta, uno hubiera dicho que si. Pero el nunca puso el tema económico.

 

How the **** are Rojas, or even the rumored (before) Salido, not world class??? :blood Sure they haven't fought yet, but these guys are better than anyone Juanmama has faced. INCLUDING Marquez and Concepcion.

 

I respectfully disagree. Rojas has gone to his opponent's countries for his last 2 fights and won (against Aoh for the title and Espadas for a defense). His ability is definitely world class, he is a VERY effective counter puncher and has outstanding defense. I think that he will really give Gamboa problems.

Actually, you are right about Salido, even though he holds a belt, he is not world class. But really, neither is Concepcion. Even though I'm kind of cheering for him, he is not world class at all and only really has a puncher's chance against Juanma. Marquez is a future HOFer and a great fighter who has been wonderful for the sport, however, he does not quite have the quickness and power he used to. He looked good, not great in the limited action of his last fight against Vazquez, but I really think everyone knows he is on a downturn. He used to be world class, but not anymore.

 

First, Cheato was terrified to rematch his daddy Hopkins and didn't do **** when Hops owned the whole country by throwing down the flag. He even goes back and vacations there to this day...lol

Then Cottoe shutters and starts sweating bullets anytime he hears his daddy's name (Marg).

Next, you had Cintron who was either crying during his fights w/ Marg and Martines or straight diving into the front row like he was Michael Phelps when Big Daddy Williams started bring the heat.

And now you have Juanma who seeks shelter anytime someone mentions Caballero's name during an interview.
