I believe his pride will carry him on for 3 rounds...until he finally breaks down in blood and tears...Maybe I'm being nice...**** maybe he only lasts the first round...

Yeah, the HBO boys were doing their usual nuthugging of the favorite HBO fighter. They basically refused to give Margo any credit for the great infighting he was doing against Cotto.

Although it's still far from the worst nuthugging I've seen by them. Lampley's biased commentating of Jermain Taylor against Hops was bordering on embarrasing.

Just like Hopkins, who didn't move up until the latter part of his career. Leave it to a dumb**** who uses the names of two of boxings biggest jokes as his name. Gayweather f**ks Malignaggi and produces a piece of **** (you.)

Cotto wasted a lot of energy. He had nothing left in the tank. Combine that with a relentless fighter and anyone can be stopped. I don't see what all the nutthugging comments are about. They called the fight just fine. I mean if you don't like HBO commentary you must depise Showtime, Versus, and ESPN because they are much worse. Cotto will have easily seen the mistakes he made the first go around and I fully expect to see him box Margarito's ears off for a full 12 rounds but Shane might do that to. Margarito has a lot of attributes but I see things someone as skilled as Cotto could take advantage of like Paul Williams did. He isn't going to KO Sugar Shane like many say but it will be a very good fight. Margarito/Cotto was a great fight and still the complaining.

    Lampley was horrendous.

I've watched the fight like 5 times, and the commentating was biased.

They may have been somewhat biased in favor of Cotto against Margo but honestly I've seen much worse. They used to shoot a load in their pants every time that DLH fought . And " a huge left hand by DLH " and it was nothing more than a missed punch. Honestly I sometimes rather watch the fight in mute.

dont forget kirk, this is ESB where p4p champs are frauds and keyboard warriors are the real never say die warrior kings. that guy would probably have quit after inside a rd. of margo going through his ass. whats unreal about it is their gall to heap **** on cotto, despite the guy giving it his all, oh wait, but he is'nt a "true champ".

Even while cotto was getting blasted in the ropes with margo's shots the guy kept throwing. To dismiss him as a mere "quitter" is ridiculous. I will never call a quitter a person who fights a war against a bigger opponent while having a broken nose since the 2nd round. What we need in boxing is more fighters like him. He'll fight anyone and if he loses then fine, he does not have to make any excuses. Just takes it like a man.

I could see from the 2nd round on that Margo was doing real damage to Cotto and that he was on his way to winning the fight. I was surprised that Cotto lasted even as long as he did. I didn't get that same sense in the early rounds of the Williams fight.

Yep. He also busted Cotto's nose early in the fight as well, which Cotto kept wiping and pawing at throughout the fight. Margo's work might've been more subtle than Cotto's, but anyone genuinely paying attention to the fight should've been able to see that his punches were doing more damage to Cotto.

It pissed me off how Margo would get Cotto on the ropes, wail away at his body, and Lampley would just be totally silent, like nothing was happening. Then as soon as Cotto would throw punches back, Lampley would start screaming, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDD combination by COTTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!":patsch

The worst part is when Lampley cried while watching slow-mo replays of Cotto getting beat up. No one who paid $49.99 to watch that fight should have to hear sh-t like that.
