It could be thats for sure, Im hoping it will be special either which way, it cant come round quick enough
It will be very entertaining but i don't think it will be an all out war like Marquez-Vazquez. I see a more tactical battle with moments of high-octane leather throwing.
Doubtful. Marquez-Vasquez 3, like Corrales-Castillo I, is one of those fight of the year battles that's virtually impossible to top. It'll be a hell of a fight though, for sure.
I really don't know. I thought i did know untill someone else pointed out a good view earlier. It will depend on how each chooses to fight, i suppose. I wrote this in another thread regarding this fight earlier; "I can't see it being a toe-to-toe war. Cotto would be playing right into Margo's hands then and giving Margo his best chance of winning. Ultimately Cotto is going to dictate what type of fight this is and i see him using his brain and boxing more on the backfoot (he will not be running like some people might claim it to be. He will just be fighting in a way that is best to beat a none stop on coming brawler). At times i think Cotto will stand his ground, plant his feet and let some vicious shots go. He will have to do this to land his trademark body punches as its hard to throw body punches effectively on the retreat and he will have to land body punches to slow Margo down. (If Cotto can't slow down Margo with shots to the body then i see Margo winning this no matter what style Cotto chooses to fight). But by and large Cotto will probably not enter into to many toe-to-toe exchanges. Despite this i still think it will be a great fight. Not a Gatti/Ward type of fight like some people are predicting but still entertaining nevertheless. Im going for a Cotto UD by the way. I know you never asked, but still..." But later on in the same thread someone posted this good point that gave me second thoughts on my original view; "Cotto is a good body puncher and Margarito punches too darn wide. This is going to be easy work for Cotto. The only way Margarito could win is if he fights smart which I've NEVER seen him do. By that I mean us his jab, double and tripple it up (which he rarely does). Keep Cotto on the outside of his punches and make it a boxing match until late." To which i replied; "Thats a very good point that i didn't give much thought to and havn't heard many other people mention. Everyone is expecting Margo to come forward and draw Cotto to fighting inside which could be bad for the wider punching Margo. I don't think Margo is better technically than Cotto but if he can fight tall (which he rarely does) and keep Cotto at the end of his jab and fight occasionally on the inside he could stand a good chance of winning this way." Sorry for just copying and pasting JabCross727, but it was much easier than retyping my ever changing views on this fight, lol.
Margo with his superior stamina, height, chin, higher workrate and lust for combat, will win by late stoppage but it will be a good scrap..:rasta
