I laid 1000 on Margo two weeks ago at +475. The line right now at the sportsbook down the street is Paq-280 which I started to hedge today. This kind of opportunity is available to people with the insight to spot a bad line. I am going to hedge more as the Paq line is probably going to go down as this is Mexican Independence weekend and a lot of Mexicans are going to take Margo, especially after this weigh-in. I also hedged the bet on a draw at 22/1 as the book that offered Paq at +280 does not return money on draws as opposed to the book I layed Margo +475. Theoretically, I could hedge the entire bet and still walk away with around $1700 if Margo wins with no risk if Paq wins.

Does this sound like a NOOOOBBB or someone that obviously knows the fight game and puts his money where his mouth is?

Why did they sign the fight then? Throughout history guys have come in light and still fought well. Margarito fought mostly at 147 his whole career and now he cannot fight at 150? Hearns fought at 147 and weighed in at 145 in 1981 and gave a good fight. If Manny wins he deserved it, he beat Margarito fair and square. But no way will I see Manny as 154 pound champion when he didn't win that title against the champion. Boxing has become a joke. And they never should have allowed Leonard to pull the same kind of stuff 22 years ago.

Nah....it's all about mental warfare. They are just trying to get in Margs head. His wins WON'T be discredited b/c MOST know how specail of a fighter PAC is. the only ones discrediting PAC's wins are low level journalist and guys on message boards who are mad they lost money.

Pac could fight a prime SRR and Roach would still find something to discredit Pac's win. He sees flaws everywhere. He's already said that Floyd has lost his legs.

You would think that if Ariza really thought Margarito was doomed with weight issues, he'd just keep it within the realm of the Pac team.......
The way I look at it, the fact that Ariza is even downing Margarito and gone public with this, looks more to me like Ariza is trying to convince himself that Margarito is just like Pacquiao's previous opponents at 147 lbs.

Ariza is'nt playing mind games if it refers to playing with Margarito's mind, because irregardless of what Ariza says, Margarito knows whether it was a big struggle or not to make 150 lbs.

If Margarito struggled with the weight, he knows his plight whether Ariza came out public or not.....but if he did'nt struggle or his struggle was only whats been normal for his weighins, Margarito must be licking his chops right now and thinking, "these poor guys dont know whats coming to them."......in which case what Ariza said should only strenghthen Margarito's resolve.

Believe what you want but I don't need to tell you that. Your "sportsbook" is now at Pac -250...and dropping.

who other than yourself would want Paq at -700?

where are you at? I'll take that action. In fact, I'll give you Pac -260.

Its because roach is smart enough to know there is no such thing as a perfect fighter.
