stylistically cotto gives floyd a harder fight than margo, but margo aint no stepping stone either,i have been saying it for years margo will make floyd fight.
Mayweather would take a decision. Shame he hasn't got the balls to prove it, and backup the bold statements from his fans.
Floyd Mayweather UD. Imagine the 1st 6 rounds of the Cotto fight with Mayweather being hit much much less than Cotto was, but for the whole fight.
Pretty much. It would take even longer for Margarito to catch up with Mayweather, since there are no known stamina/chin issues, and the defense is sound so its not easy to just wear him down on volume It's really a no brainer, and would probably be wide. 10-2 or so.
PBF has the skills to outbox Margarito and he would do much better than Cotto in capitalizing on Margarito's mistakes. Margarito on the other hand has a lot of physical advantages and is very tough on smaller opponents. I can't say with 100% certainty who would win this, it can only be settled in the ring.
On paper yes, in the ring however people have found out that Margarito is much tougher than they thought. According to you it was a no brainer that Cotto wins and that's exactly what it was, a no brained prediction.
Depends on if PBF can consistently tie Margo up without eating uppercuts. This would be tough to past mid-fight considering the strength differential. I could see PBF getting worn down. PBF would do a better job boxing and moving than Cotto did and his speed would certainly help him score points. The big problem I see for Floyd is Margo's reach and strength advantage, which will make it very difficult to avoid enough hard punches. Floyd has dealt with punchers effectively before, but they weren't as big, strong, and relentless as Margo. I really think that at this weight and these two fighters, Margo could really end up being too much.
Margarito by way of knock out, Floyd doesnt have to come out of retirement to prove this, Margarito will do the worked needed in the future to PROVE his the better man, He will prove himself by fighting and beating the best in the divison.
