    Good post. It is amazing that the media can twist a story so badly that the innocent man is called a cheat and the real cheat is glorified. Where a lying POS like N. Richardson can blow a story out of proportion and feces eater like Jim Lampley can run with it.

    Yeah, but the rules are clear and concise. Tape and gauze are the only things that can be used. So, it's like any other type of wrong doing. Doesn't matter if it's a pound of plaster, milligram of PED or a pound of plaster a suitcase of PED's if it's found on or in you, you are wrong and must pay the piper.

    I'm convinced! Margo is innocent, Richardson is a *******, Mayweather was just dehydrated and Canelo's cows ran into a patch of bad alfalfa!

    No its not like any type of wrong doing, placing a used knucklepad on your wraps shouldn't get you a one year suspension.
    I don't think there's a single boxing person beside Nazim Richardson who actually saw the knucklepad who would say that the knucklepad in question would have put Margarito at an advantage.
    Capetillo was caught having placed the used knucklepads and was made to replace them. That should have been the end of it unless it would have been proven that those knucklepads would have turned hard and caused real harm to the recipient.
    That was never proven, in fact a year later when Garcia saw and felt them, he laughed at the notion that those knucklepads would have made any difference in the punches by Antonio Margarito.

    When the wraps were analyzed. there was something on the wraps consistant with plaster. Some Margarito supporters will say that hand lotion and human sweat can produce the same substances. This may be true, so the correct path that should have been taken, would have been to analyze a diffrent pair of used wraps from a controlled test. If sweat and lotion produce the same results, the man should have never been suspended. If not. Nail him to the wall. But, since the only results are from Margo's wraps, the committee took the safe route and punished him.

    Bingo, I stated what you just did earlier in the thread. I noted that the commission should have made fresh legal knucklepads and had a fighter use them several days on the heavybag, you know make them sweaty with each use. Then have taken those wraps to the same lab Margarito's alleged wraps were tested at to have compared the findings. I'm fairly certain the same elements that were found in Margarito's wraps would have been found in those wraps.

    I'm still 100 % convinced they wanted Margarito out of the way. Neither Oscar nor Mayweather wanted any part of him after seeing the way he demolished Cotto but he was in the way. They thought they'd found the holy grail when that POS opened his big lying mouth. The CSAC jumped in & banned Margarito for over 2 years because they SUSPECTED he MAY have tried to load his gloves. Problem solved Tony was out of boxing & no one had to fight him. Sad part is They ruined his career & tarnished his good name based on a blatant lie. Richardson, The CSAC & everyone else involved should have been the ones BANNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
