    The only way Oscar would fight Marg is if he could make 95% of the purse, have it in a 50 foot ring, Marg would have to have his right hand tied behind his back, and three of his left hand fingers broken, and one of his feet cut off. The fight would have to be 4 rounds, Joel DLH Sr. would need to be the ref, and the 3 judges would have to be Schaefer, Millie, and Jim Lampley. Those would be Oscar's conditions.

    As much as I hate Oscar, Margo is tailor made for him. I think Oscar can hurt him with a few left hooks. It would be a very interesting fight.

    You're the same guy who thinks Manny Pacquiao would have beaten De La Hoya.

    Margarito gets hurt by Hoya's left hooks, whereas Manny doesn't. I like your logic.

    Absolutely!

    Possibly another FOTY-type performance from both fighters.

    Would be a great send-off for DLH and would bring a lot more attention to the WW div. and Margarito's future opponents, Williams, Mosely, etc.

    I think this translates well into:

    "Oscar! I want me that big payday! Please throw some change my way!"

    Has nothing to do with Margarito's courage. He just want's to get paid. Just like every fighter who would jump at the chance to face Oscar. I find it funny that the "biggest ***** in boxing" is the guy everybody wants to fight.

    Is this the first time he's let his manager communicate for him..???... and I've never heard Margorito come out and retract any statement made on his behalf.
    We all know Margo has poor English, that's why he has other's speak it for him. Make no mistake though, there were plenty of things that the manager said himself...but he made sure to ascribe certain words to Margorito...I don't know who you are, to dispute the word of a member of Margorito's team.

    His manager said "Margorito told me that..."

    I am more comfortable taking it from his manager, then an annonymous member of the boxing press...however go to the site, and you will see an author's name if that makes you feel better. I don't have any idea why you would want to dismiss a great quote...we'll see if Margo comes out and says it's not true. I already know the answer though.
