Since when does being bigger than someone mean that the angle advantages of the southpaw are automatically gone? Do trainers tell their amateurs, "Don't worry about him being a southpaw, you're taller than him!"?

Having 50% of your losses or 3 out of 6 come at the hands of southpaws is a very significant number. Mother****er doesn't know how to fight lefties.

you are again 100% correct, However the style that Manny brings to the table is suited for the style that Margarito brings, they both square up and bang it out, Manny does a bit of boxing but he still gets hit, and that is also going to be a story teller in this fight..

However Margaritos height will play an advantage in keeping him a bit safer from being hit as much and as often as Cotto was and thats what I beleive will make a difference...

Being a midget will make emmanuel's firepower lineup with marg's body. marg squaring up presents extra juicy targets for emmanuel. emmanuel's speed and angles > marg brawling

Cotto is no Mayweather, but he's still moar defensively responsible than marg.

I never said that being taller the angles are automatically gone. Did I? I'm just saying that you based this all on Margo not being able to fight lefties BUT there were other factors that told the story. These 3 were taller and had a longer reach than Margo, for one (and 2).

Also, if you look at P. Williams, Williams also had a high workrate. .... but Margo, the slow starter, managed to rebound in the 2nd half. So it wasn't just a southpaw thing because if it was then Margo wouldn't do better as the fight progressed.
Against Santos, it was close and stopped by a cut and the other fight was like 15 years ago.

As I stated previously, Margo faced someone that was more comparable and that was the quick moving southpaw in Sergio Martinez and Margo didn't struggle as much as one would think. He KOed Sergio Martinez, the southpaw. So you can't say that he doesn't know how to fight lefties.

I'm not even stating that Margo is going to win but sure to expect a live dog in Margo.

    This is simple.

There is nothing Antonio Margarito can do to win the fight.

Margarito will have to go all out and he still will probably get knocked out. He has a small chance to win, but improbable!

Go on vacation...oh wait! Oh you said Margarito, sorry. He better pray he can take Pac's punches and hope he can catch Pac enough to slow him down. Good luck to him.
