He is a wonderful fighter to watch, but all
those head blows will eventually catch up with him.

At 30 years old, he needs to evaluate his career against
    his long term health.

Of course Arum will use him as long he can.....then toss him
aside.....as we have seen "Boxing" do to many fighters in
    the past.

yeah eventually he'll start getting the head aches and the face twitiching going on ... then the words will start to slur as his brain is turned to mush

Not every fighter like Margarito ends up with a slur. Just look at Julio Cesar Chavez, that guy took way more punishment than Margarito has, and he is fine. It all depends on the person.

True, Margarito seems unconcerned with taking punches. But I think walking through big punchers like Cotto and Cintron can also be attributed to Margarito's relentless pressure, and his opponents not being able to get set to throw with maximum leverage.

Once his ability to absorb big punches diminishes. Margarito's downfall will be swift. That is the whole key to his current success right now.

I agree....Gatti is suprisingly coherent for a guy thats taking as much punishment as he has throughout his career. George Foreman too....it does depend on the fighter. I think its largely genetic.
