Shane was never troubled in the fight. If he had natural savage power there is no way they ever would've considered loading the gloves at all.
nobody is sayin he had 'savage power' but he is not a light puncher by any account but with the loaded gloves he gets a considerable power advantage
bro, look at the fight and notice everytime margo lands something, mosley would quickly clinch....that, and the fact that mosley said he hits ****en hard tells you the truth right there....
You're right...and when he did connect.....Lampley's comment to Steward was...." you just don't hear those loud thudding sounds as when he fought Cotto" Steward agreed. Margie may have had the same power...but not the same effect on the recipient...without the cinderblocks.
That thudding comment doesn't make sense. The thudding sound was probably the sound of a boxer landing one power shot after another on an overwhelmed opponent. So yes, the sound would naturally be gone against Shane.
I would tend to agree, even if Margo had his wraps he didn't hit Mosely enough to hurt him. One thing though, that has to hurt the confidence going into the fight, even if he though he was doing everything by the rules getting rewraped like that is also one hell of a distraction.
