Do you post on Boxing hideout?Anyways I agree with you but the sad thing is that the speed Margo is showcasing is just about his ring speed in a fight. It's hard to land when youre getting hit because youre always a step behind. Watch the Shane fight. He would land then Margarito would try to still throw just like in the Cotto fight but with no sucess. Margy is ****ed.

Nope never heard of the place~
Anyhow you cant compair Mosley to Pacquiao both have way different styles and both are much different in Size, the only thing those two have in common is PEDs and it ends there.

Mosley was strong enough to push margarito back and I dont mean by jabbing or throwing shots he pushed Tony back, turned Tony while inside and nailed Tony as he was resetting, Mosley is strong enough to do that, not sure if Cotto could have used that style to beat Tony but it worked perfectly for Mosley.

Manny is not that kind of fighter at the higher weights, he doesnt drive you back like that he uses speed and footwork to get the job done... Now you can say what you want about the Mosley Margarito fight, but as reported Tony came into camp heavy... his fault for not conducting himself like a world champion...

However lets say he came into camp fine... the controversy surrounding the hand wraps is enough to mentally take you out of the fight considering there could have been jail time involved....

so even if the comming into camp heavy theory is false, the controversy was enough to take his mind from the fight, and if you deny that then your basicly admitting you dont know much about the sport becuase 90% of it really is mental.

Now people tend to ignore facts surrounding that loss because of several reasons. the first being Tony exposed Floyd as a fraud, as a fighter who ducked live guys in the divison... so you have your Floyd fans who are still to this day not happy about that so they do what ever it takes to discredit Margarito....

Then you have those who say well Floyd dominated Mosley, but yet they dont want to admit that Mosley underwent some testing that he didnt under go for his fight with Margarito... and Mosley is a known roid user

either way most are banking on Margarito being shot, or stylewise its a mismatch...
Look man, Baldimor who cant break an egg with a baseball bat beat the slicker faster and seemingly more powerful Zab Judah..... why is it so hard to beleive that a guy like Tony cant beat Manny Pacquiao when Manny has had trouble when he is pressured fights with Marquez prove that and his first fight with Morales as well....

I was going to actually read you whole post but you mention styles. It's not a style issue. Cotto was able to land first as well as Shane. I'm sure Manny is going to land first as well with more zip, power and velocity on his shots than Cotto and Shane were able too. Thats just the bottom line. Margarito is to slow to be reactive and try to throw a reprisal after he just got hit from Manny. He's going to look like an idiot whiffing threw air. Manny will either counter his slow ass or simply move while possibly turning Margarito around. His best chance is to get Manny on the ropes and in corners. I'm sorry. Youre guy is burnt toast.(had to go with a 90's analogy because thats how ****ed he is)

Doesn't stand there like a statue but at the same time he's no Pea Whitaker. The guy gets hit a lot and busted up in almost every fight.

Slow but those shots look like they have some sting in them. Marg will intentionally eat four punches just to land one or two of his shots. He throws a ton so eventually some of his shots will hit their target. I'm guessing even at this point his chin is a lot better than Cotto's so he will not react to getting hit the same way Cotto did. All it takes is one good body shot and the fight can change instantly. But even with all things considered it's unlikely Margo will win. Just sayin - being slow doesn't always equate to being ineffective.

Do you guys think Pac will let Marg hit him to the body like what he did to cotto and clottey exposing his body so cotto and clottey will open up so pac can counter?

A lot of people on here make some good points, and some make some very interesting points too...

Let me chime in on this.

I am sure that everyone saw Pac's media work out, am I right? Did he not look like crap? He really looked like the weight took some of his coordination away, which I can personally attest too. Pac didn't seem to be interested in training, and he certainly didn't look like himself, at least to the level he has been at for his last 5 fights or so. It is all an act though. Not the weight making him less coordinated, but everything else is.

I think that Freddy and Alex, as well as the rest of the camp are playing games like they usually do. It doesn't make sense for them not to be at this point. They need this fight to even have a chance to cash out(with PBF). If he wasn't in shape, they could easily take the injured foot excuse and not fight until they are ready. Freddie is too smart to risk this way.

With that being said, I think that Margarito still doesn't really have much of a chance, dude is too slow. It isn't that this video is my only evidence or anything either, dude has made it to this level because of his toughness and good timing, and work rate. Not because of his speed. NOT AT ALL BECAUSE OF HIS SPEED or TECHNIQUE. Dude isn't impressing anyone in those departments.

This fight is going to end up like Pac's fight with ODH, only this time the corner will not stop it. It will be a brutal beatdown from the outset. I just can't see it any other way.

Isn't it scary when Pac smiles at you, knowing damn well he's minutes away from beating the utter **** out of you
