Yes, he should be. He's very active churning out
entertaining fights while Floyd had his balls castrated
in a remote circumcision hospital in Vegas.

Marquez should #3, Floyd down to #4. Of course, Martinez should be #2.

Actually no especially since he couldn't even win a round against Floyd. Don't care Floyd was bigger. His skill was the real size difference in the fight. JMM got white washed.

The size was the real skill difference in the fight. Floyd should've been able to knock Marquez out, as many top WWs would have done. That he wasn't able to do it is not very impressive, but I'll put that down to his inactivity.

This is pound for pound ranking, not in WW ranking. If you will shrink Floyd to a weight where both are in equal footing, say at lightweight, Marquez will beat him. That's how P4P is.

Take away size. Floyd will still have the speed, defense, footwork, whatever the hell you can think of. You still see the same pull counter highlight. Floyd is levels above JMM. You can argue size but I'm sticking with his higher ring IQ and towering skill. Floyd was coming off a 18 month lay off.

I'm sorry. I actually read your full statement and it's clear youre a clown. Theres no possible way JMM could ever beat Floyd. Probably the most pathetic post I've read in awhile.:verysad

Not really, people keep going on about inactivity.

Very few people were making the same argument for when Mosley was inactive for close to a year, or when Hopkins was out for over a year after the Pavlik bout...and came back to fight Ornelas.

These guys were out for longer than Mayweather has been since the Mosley bout, yet I didn't see thread after thread about their "inactivity". I wonder why.

Take for example Khan, his last bout was about 2 weeks after the Mayweather v Mosley bout...granted he has a bout coming up in a weeks time, but why were there no threads about Khan's inactivity?

Floyd is just too good to give any advantage to. To beat a really great fighter like Marquez so clearly is still a great accomplishment , and proves how good Floyd really is.
Too bad he's such an incredible douche bag and his fights are so boring.

to beat a fighter like Marquez at 147 clearly is not that big an accomplishment. I would tip alot of 147lb fighters who are nowhere near all time greats to spark Marquez out or at least hand him a serious beating.

The only thing that makes this win good for Floyd is that he was coming off a long period of inactivity.

Mayweather was inactive for over 20 months before the Marquez fight. It's not the same as Khan who hasn't fought in 7 or 8 months..

    what a ridiculous statement

pbf totally dominated him in their last fight and that was after marquez drunk **** as well!!

fair enough floyd isn't the most likable character but i dont get why people on this site use their dislike for him as fuel to bring up silly statistics and make ludicrous claims to question unquestionable boxing skill!!

p4p1 is floyd and pac joint until they fight! standard!
