You just cant speculate. He is perhaps the greatest amatuer of alltime but that doesnt necessarily equate to him becoming ATG in the pros. The rough and tough world of 12 x 3's is a world away from the tap and run 4 x 2's that he was used to. Im sure he would have picked up a title more than likely.
No Doubt, i no he has wins over Kahn(17), Kotelnik and Cotto(17), Av heard he beat Titto aswel. Any one know of any other pro's, champions hes held victories over. Its a shame would of been interesting to see how good this lad could have been.
Khan was also called a potential future P4P when we saw him fighting in the amatuers... till we found out about his chin
Pacquiao got knocked out early in his career. P4P greats don't get knocked out. Oh wait, he's P4P arguably #1 atsch. What went wrong? Just because he got knocked out doesn't mean he can't become P4P top.
It sure is a different world from the pros and amateurs and some great amateur fighters like yan barthelmy and Michael Carruth didnt do well as a pro.Even Mark breland didnt quite reach the peaks thought he could reach even though he won a title but respect to them all for going pro in the first place.
Whats a 'P4P TOP GREAT', do you mean ATG? Khan is chinny but are you trying to tell me that he does not have the POTENTIAL to be P4P in the next few years?
Kindelan was perfect for the amateurs...no-one knows what he would/could have been like in the pro's.
