Someone's 0 has got to go - and with the odd-numbered round system used in South America, the chances of a draw are very low. :good

Morales is 19-0 (10. Ramirez is 12-0-2 (6).

 

Morales is ordinarily a southpaw and Ramirez orthodox - but you'll note they are in the opposite stances now, which is confusing. They are both switch-hitters. Morales is wearing the USA flag on his trunks, however. (and they have "Roman" embroidered on the front of his waistband and "Morales" on the rear, though in light and nearly illegible lettering)

 

Roman warned for rabbit punches.

He seems to have been getting the best of the action since I tuned in, around the late 2nd/early 3rd.

...but it has been a two-way firefight. The chess game of alternating stances has been fascinating.

 

Rodriguez vs. Buitrago is up next after this, by the way.

For anyone that was hoping to hold out for the Solo Boxeo coverage on UniMas at 11pm EST - don't. (if Dragoncito vs. Choccoroncito is your main concern)

They're either showing it on tape delay or not showing it period.

There is a female interim WBA flyweight title bout and male interim WBA super featherweight title bout nominally headlining the card - either or both of which are going to more likely be featured on Solo Boxeo.

So yeah, scratch that about Rodriguez vs. Buitrago coming up next after Morales vs. Ramirez, I guess :!:
