Nope, it was just Barrera slipping in a wet corner. :verysad

I was hoping they were going to get this over with and bring on the fight we all really want to see (no offense, Barrera y Montiel)

 

Montiel is putting a hurting on Barrera with his body punching, though.

edit: legit knockdown, end of the 6th!!! Huh? Ruled a slip? :huh That's fishy. He was getting pounded before he fell.

 

WTF is going on??? The cameras for C**** 4 are fixed on some guy in a suit outside the ring (politician? former boxer? musician?) hugging people and giving out autographs, posing for pictures...

Meanwhile the round clock is still counting down in the lower-right corner.

TWO WHOLE MINUTES OF ACTION, not shown, because this guy mingling with the crowd was so intriguing (at least according to C**** 4's technical director, who may have just had a stroke... :blood)

 

Okay, now they camera is on Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. and Roberto Duran hanging out at ringside for a few seconds at the end of the 7th. That makes sense. Classic moment right there. (I'm sure they've met before at some point but that's still quite a sight, watching them laugh and slap each other's back in mutual respect)

I don't know who the hell the previous guy was.

 

I kinda feel like Barrera is getting his ass kicked here.

 

I'm pretty sure this kid Juanito is some kind of relation to Fernando Montiel.

(same last name, somewhat reminiscent style, fought earlier in his career on a bunch of KO-chul Promotions shows, and is from the same hometown)
