I don't know...I missed the first half (nature called) but from when I returned Barrera was looking pretty fragile and on the razor's edge the rest of the way, only showing renewed fire in the 9th but getting smacked around in the 6th-8th.

The half-point thing really messes with me, figuring out how the RBR breakdown worked on the judges' cards. Odd-numbered schedules (ie 9 rounds or 11 for championships) I'm fine with - but FFS, South Americans, wtf is the matter with INTEGERS for scoring? :-(

According to someone on Twitter, just now (during and following the reading of the scorecards for Barrera vs. Montiel) the commentators told some funny anecdote of Ricardo Mayorga & the late Emanuel Steward.

 

He, Duran, and Chavez Sr. probably can't all ride a standard passenger elevator at the same time. :!:

 

This card is so confusing.

Originally they advertised Rodriguez vs. Buitrago as being live at 7pm local time in Nicaragua (9pm EST, or ninety minutes ago) on C**** 4. That obviously didn't happen. Then a reliable source on Twitter claimed it was on directly after Morales vs. Ramirez - and that didn't happen.

Now, I have no idea what the running order is on the remainder of the card. Two world title bouts (one male, one female) and the bout for which I made the RBR thread - which may or may not be an eliminator but is scheduled for ten. :!:

Now they're just showing clips of a bunch of random fights (including Salido vs. Lopez II and Marquez vs. Pacquiao IV) set to classical music.
